Caught this tonight at The Lowry and loved it.
I've never fully watched The Little Mermaid so kind of went in blind but I found it hilarious. I wasn't expecting such a long fully staged show.
Great performances from all the cast and brilliant puppetry.

Saw this tonight at the Oxford Playhouse. Camp, crude fun, perhaps a little too on the 'dick joke' side of things for my personal taste, but the audience as a whole was in great (but appropriately behaved) spirits so it was all good fun and good vibes. A couple of really fun stand out songs, and Shawna Hamic is really great as Ursula. It might be a little too long, something like 2 hours with an interval would probably suit it better than the 2 hrs 30 mins.

Curious as to what they've shaved, since it was more like 2hrs 50 mins at Southwark.
