Perhaps it does work better away from the very random riverside setting. I just don't like the feel of the arrangement. Too slow, rather odd variation from the original tune. Perhaps it is better live - maybe it will appear in that form on the YouTubes at some point.

As I've not read anything, is he still doing that Broadway show? The one that made him change the London concert dates.

He is indeed. Til the end of this month I think. Then he can go back to singing something lovely again 😀

Awww, sad to read it's closing. Can't wait to see what he's doing next. West End debut maybe?

Another Rodgers & Hammerstein reimagining...
Obviously I love him. I love her. They're both gorgeous. Their voices are beautiful.
But...does anyone else think this is a bit dull and goes on for too long?

They've taken two pleasant songs that never made much impact with me and turned them into a one act play that has great colour and mood swings and drama. Yes, you have to concentrate quite closely on what they're doing, but so much music demands no effort at all these days, it's refreshing to be given something complex for once. And what a great sound they make together.

I really enjoyed it. But why aren’t they (this and OWABM) being released on iTunes/Spotify?

Jeremy is back for more concerts at Cadogan hall in October!
I don't know about going this time, i've seen him both times he's done shows over here, if it's going to be largely the same set list as last time, as much as i love him, not sure i need to fork out again?

Likewise I'm in 2 minds. He was undeniably amazingly brilliant and I adored him, but I kinda wanna know he's gonna do a whole new setlist before I commit! 🤔

How exciting! If prices remain as reasonable I’ll go. I hope this indicates his album will be out by then.

I think WhatsOnStage has a 24 hour pre-sale so you'd need to go to their website to sign up.

I struggled too, it doesn't like leaving a single seat, and demand is high so it's selling fast, but I'm booked for the Saturday night. Reasonable prices too aside from the front 3 rows 😀

But he's worth it 😍

What a mess this presale is.
First didn't let anyone book seats, now loads of people have gotten 'transaction failed' messages trying to pay for them. Which would be bad enough, but the money appears to be coming out of bank accounts and some people are hundreds out of pocket from retrying payments.
Whats On Stage twitter approach seems to be a mix of copy-and-paste replies and silence, but at least the Love Theatre twitter people are trying to help!

LoveTheatre have emailed to acknowledge the system issue, apparently due to a power outage. A batch is still pending and they expect it to release in the next hour.

I currently have 24 tickets booked.... I'm hoping that the 20 which haven't been confirmed by e-mail will soon be released - and that the £990 in 'pending transactions' will be returned to my bank balance!!!!!

I've got one confirmed ticket - and four other transactions sitting on my bank account. Some poor folk have their cards maxed out and can't even retry though, crap for them.

So it seems he’s re-scheduled another set of concert dates in favour of ‘other professional commitments’. Not really the best way to treat those who buy tickets months in advance when they go on sale.
I get it may actually be out of his control contractually, but when he moved his last set of UK dates it was for a job he’d clearly taken after selling the tickets.
