Booked the cheap tickets in Birmingham as already booked for Sarah Brightman as well today (who I have never seen live). Already seen Bernadette although am really looking forward to seeing her again.

Just do not expect the Bernadette of old. I saw her in Dolly and while it was great to see her, her voice is not what it used to be. Not much power and hard on the high notes. Definitely not one to go for the very high priced seats. Of course that is my opinion.

I was thinking the same may book a cheap Birmingham ticket as never seen her live before .... and then there’s Sarah ... I’ve seen all her tours over here and she puts on a fab show .la Luna and harem were amazing.. but I saw this one at the cinema ... so not sure 🤔 this time

Are there any clues as to the London prices? Are we looking at the £127 mentioned up thread? Having failed repeatedly to ever see her on stage, she has always been 'indisposed' when I have had tickets, I would like to see her live. Bucket list so to speak.

Birmingham prices range from £125 VIP down to £22.50. The next price down from VIP is £62.50 so VIP probably includes photo opportunity, meet and greet etc.

How many times have you missed her and in which shows? Just curious. I know her attendance in her three most recent shows has been 100%, but she did miss a few shows earlier in her career. Like I said, just curious as to where and when you missed her.

I had the odd experience of trying to see her in Annie Get Your Gun and then a few years later in Gypsy, and both times being told at the box office when trying to buy tickets that she was unwell and if I was particularly trying to see her, I should try the next day. Both trips were a week long and I eventually saw Annie without her but not Gypsy. I also was unable to see her as replacement in A Little Night Music on a later trip but that was not down to anything on her part. So you see we keep missing each other, perhaps I can appeal for free tickets citing lifelong disappointment!!

Tbh, I don’t quite understand the fascination with her (I saw her in Gypsy twice - including the closing performance where the audience went wild - and in Follies). I enjoyed her performances, but didn’t think she was anything remarkable, either vocally or in terms of acting. Just my opinion though.

One of these performers I'd wish I'd seen in her prime. I've no wish for my first live experience of her to be one well past her best.
Especially at those prices.
I do think she's amazing though.

So I registered for the pre-sale for the London Lyceum show and according to the website these went on sale today at 10 am.
Luckily at work I have playability in terms of my start time so today at 10am I sat down in front of my laptop only to find.... nothing.
The date of pre-sale has changed to Thursday.
Grrr!
So went to work late and deflated.
(sigh)

A couple of days later and I am still struggling as to why I had such difficulties in booking this. (In truth) I found it bot frustrating and upsetting.
I had gone onto the website and entered my details for the pre-sale. I receive no email.
As previously stated, I waited home on the Monday that they were supposed too go on sale, only to discover they were then on sale on the Friday.
In preparation I have to tried to log onto the website a day or so before, managed to get to her website, but crashed out the trying to anywhere the booking of tickets site. I figured this may have been as a result of some security filters at work
Mindful of this, come the time I tried on my phone. Same problem.
To ensure I wasn't affected by WiFi accessibility I even went into our public reception area where there's free WiFi. Same problem.
At this point, distraught, frustrated and upset I just gave up, figuring that this just wasn't going to happen for me.
I have been lucky to see Ms Peters both in Sydney, before I moved here and a year or two ago at the Royal Festival Hall.
Thank God for the results updates from winonaforever on this board.
Despite having to go out that night, I was home just long enough to log on, and despite making the assumption that this would be sold out, given the several hours this had been on sale, there were still lots of tickets available.
Needless to say, I have spent money that I don't have (than God for Credit Cards that I will pay at the end of the week) and I'm going.
(If possible) I propose for anyone there on the night for a TheatreBoard meet up.

Just looked at ticket prices. Although there are cheaper seats in the upper circle the good seats in stalls and dress are pretty expensive and at my time of life I only sit in stalls and dress so will give it a miss. I've seen her before so not that desperate. Plenty of availability at the moment though.

So I've caved and bought an £80 ticket. She best be turning up in fine fettle and full voice.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what the ATG fee of nearly £4 is actually for? Didn't they ban charges being passed on to customers for using cards?

Got a £24 stalls ticket from todaytix! Seems like a good deal.
Expect this to be the gayest night of my life.
Hope the opening song is The Circle of Life.

The sales at Birmingham are extremely poor. Looks like it has only sold 10% of the tickets. I hope I goes ahead.

Couldn’t they try to maybe discount them a bit to start with? I’d love to go for £20-£30 but I’m not paying £50+ for any decent seat in the stalls or circle!
