How fantastic for him. Hope I get to see him before he jets off. If that lottery didn't hate me . . .

I wonder if they had issues casting Lola/Simon locally hence why they've got Callum Francis? I know that the Australian production will be using the set from the Toronto production as Hal Luftig, one of the producers of KB mentioned in a podcast.

Exciting! I didn't like the show at all when I saw it (although I thought the majority of the cast were brilliant, the elements just didn't all come together for me), I'd be interested in seeing a totally new cast. Especially as I loved the cast album. I've not seen Killian as Charlie yet, but my sister wants to see the show so maybe I'll get to before he leave (if he is leaving).

The set design will be the same, but as a way of reducing start up costs, it is sometimes cheaper to re-use a set from a closed production than build one from scratch.

It's not that strange, Callum doing Australia. Don't forget, Matt himself originally was talked abiut to be the replacement for Billy Porter and not the West End lead.

That awkward moment when they use the West End cast for the Broadway commercials...

Not awkward at all, it's quite common for them to recycle footage for other productions

Has Amy Lennox left the show? Someone else is playing Lauren in that commercial.
To be fair to B.Way, when the show was in previews the West End used the B.Way cast for their commercial.

I think it's Sophie Isaacs in the trailer? But Amy hasn't left as far as I know.

Amy hasn't left, she is contracted until at least August along with the rest of the cast and the only one we know is leaving is obviously Callum Francis for Australia. But you are right, Sophie Isaacs is playing Lauren in this trailer.

That was because the show wasn't fully opened yet so they wouldn't of had time to make a trailer yet. This trailer looks really good!

I know, but it's just funny that West End and Broadway both borrowed off of each other to make their trailers. Not too keen on the new trailer the UK did a few months back (which featured the West End cast). I feel it is one of the best shows on in the West End at the moment and it deserved a better trailer. Then again, I've never been that keen on trailers for shows. They never seem to show them off properly. I remember when I first saw the Off-Broadway trailer of Hamilton I wasn't that keen on it.

Would people suggest going to day seat at the theatre directly for this or going to TKTS in Leicester Square for best chance of mid week tickets in summer?

If you can get into London early enough to day seat, definitely do this for the best deal. If not, TKTS may be worth a try but I wouldn't expect too much in the way of deals if during the summer holidays. There is also a lottery every day on Today Tix, which you can download from the App Store.

I don't understand why people always assume extending that far forward in advance is always a bad thing. Several high profile shows are booking until around April/May 2017 of next year.

Saw the show last night! The cast was on fire and the audience was amazing! Went to stage door afterwards and saw that Adam Lake was there waiting for the cast to come out i also overheard him saying that he would see them tomorrow. Anyone know if he is making a return? Would be great to see him back on stage

Are the current cast of this due to leave in August after a year. I've seen reports of auditions happening, I do love the current cast and would love to see them stay on for a further year, however I presume some would like to explore new roles

I would be very surprised if all of them stayed on (Callum is definitely leaving as we already know).
