I just booked for Cologne and regurlar tickets range from 63 Euro to 133 Euro. Then there's three categories of Golden Circle tickets (all front blocks) ranging from 181 Euro to 296 Euro. I went for the 133 Euro tickets which got me good seats in the pit area of the venue, second block from the stage.
So definitely not cheap but also not as expensive as I had feared for a decent seat.

The Amsterdam concert while not on sale yet lists the top price as 80 Euro - so roughly £70. I expect it to be a bit more in London and here in Germany, but probably not Streisand-levels of crazy. Here's the price list for Amsterdam: www.ziggodome.nl/en/event/7253726662/hugh-jackmanPrices are actually not too bad for London: £47.75 to £87.50, including the tons of extra fees (O2 priority started this morning)

I got so sick seeing the prices for Köln, I told my friend I'd rather go to Amsterdam if we can have the same kind of seats for 80 Euro there. It's more than 50 Euro saved per ticket. German prices are disgusting

German prices are disgusting I considered going to one of the non German dates with cheaper tickets. But for me including travel and possibly a hotel for the night makes those dates more expensive than ticket plus the 1.5 hour drive to Cologne.

Yea, my friend didn't respond in time, so I ended up saying f*** it and booked for Cologne - it's like 20 mins on the tram to the Lanxess Arena for me, so it would really be ridiculous to go to Amsterdam if it's at my doorstep. I'm still waiting for her to reply to my frantic deluge of texts (and freak out over the price)

I've been trying to book a VIP ticket for Dublin, but they're only available in pairs which is pretty annoying. I know I could sell one, but I'd rather spend the extra on a better ticket.

Booked my tickets for the sunday at the O2. Could even afford the top price tickets (not the VIP ones). Just shows that big names.don't have to charge silly amounts. Well done Hugh.

Have booked loads of tickets for plays and musicals in January and February this week. With adding train fares only the cheapest tickets for Mannheim were in my budget, but I am still happy I will see Hugh Jackman live next year. Would have liked to go somewhere else for a short break, but unfortunately the other dates in Germany and Europe are not working for me - but that was allowing me to buy all the other tickets this week.

I was genuinely upset this morning (and full of rage at ticketmaster) but you know what, I'll keep the over £100 a ticket and spend it on the DVD and a couple of theatre shows instead

Yes, I gave up too. If I'm paying £90 a ticket I want to be in the front half of the arena, not at the far end of it. Otherwise I might as well be watching the DVD, since I'll be watching a screen anyway.

Otherwise I might as well be watching the DVD, since I'll be watching a screen anyway. Same, same. No arena show is worth £90 of my money to sit at the back and watch it off a screen. I'd much rather pay out for a good seat at a London theatre.

Did you try the extra Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday O2 London via axs.com, @emicardiff ? I looked at both Ticketmaster and AXS (who are the ticketing partner of the O2) and AXS had by far the better seats. I looked, but honestly, as above in the cold light of day, I don't really want to spend £80 on tickets. And if I pay a more 'reasonable' £40 there's really no point. For Britney or a big rock band arenas are fine, if not my first choice. But I want to hear Hugh sing, and see him. And honestly if I have to wait another 15 years for a musical I'd rather do that!

So, I found a seat in block 112 (just on the curve near the stage) on the thursday via AXS, so I have now parted with an eye-watering £87.50. Oops? Oh well, it's only money, right?!

I booked accessible tickets at 9am on Wed and was given block 101 by the side of the stage which I was told best suited my needs. When confirmation came not only were the tickets for block 108 at the back of the arena they were the last row and not even in the accessible section. Numerous calls to them in a queue for hours at a time. Customer service manager said he would try and change them on thur when more tickets released and call back. Just got off the phone now (friday) to find out he has been off for 2 days, no one has dealt with it and whole thing sold out. If I had just gone online on wed I could have got far better and more suitable seats booking myself. They said someone will call back but I'm not holding my breath. Awful customer service and can't say I'd use the accessible line again. On the plus side at least I have seats even though I'll be watching a screen rather than the stage.

Keep at them, they have not provided what you paid for! I've kind of lost the will to live. But next week I think I will put it all in writing and ask them to listen to the booking conversation which they must have "for training purposes"

I have now reached almost nuclear levels of frustration with this process. I have been trying to get tickets for a week now or since it all started, my mind is a fuzz. Apparently in the whole of the auditorium for five shows, only single seats available. I went on this morning and was put in the 'waiting room' and was told I would be assigned a random place in the queue, so I thought let's do a couple of browsers and whichever gives me best one I'll keep. They all logged me in at the same time, took me to the seating plan and on all three browsers, no tickets available in seated area. Then only singles, that classic 'not enough seats' line. Fair enough, my biggest issue is that when you press 'go back' it takes you back to the 'bot page' and am stuck in an endless loop of capthchas. I know they do this kind of crap to a) create buzz b) boost star egos but truly it just makes me angry and whilst no one will care that I've given up, if enough people do the same, all the buzz in the world wont fill those empty seats

Peter Kay holds the record for something like 21 nights at the o2 but as you say it's pretty amazing for musical theatre to see so many nights. Who knew he would be this popular.
