Starts this week...
Anyone going?
(And if there's any rumblings of dayseats/rush/lottery/etc do post, although the Aldwych has never been a great venue to do discounted tickets).

I’m there in May along with Chess. If the early feedback for either/both is bad it’s going to be a right downer!

Was meant to post yesterday but forgot all about it!
I've been ringing the theatre box office all week asking about the front 2 rows that had been held off!
I rang yesterday morning and nothing but I went on todaytix later on in the day and there was tickets for pretty much all dates for £75 and they were in the front 2 rows; I opened up the official website ASAP as I knew TodayTix's tickets would've been a little jacked up- on the theatres website they were £69 each I missed opening night but got 3 for the Thursday and I can say am I bloody buzzing. I grew up listening to Tina and I have been waiting for so long I just hope it lives up to my hopes!
I did rang the theatre again today to see if they were going to do day seats and they assistant said the producers definitely won't be doing day seats as it's selling so well but he says in a couple of months there should be a lottery for unsold seats... so don't lose hope just yet!
Anyways I'll report back in Thursday how it is! Hoping Adrienne smashes it!

I've got tickets for May. I'm glad I booked some cheap tickets when I saw them rather than holding off with the hope of dayseats/lottery, it's sold well indeed.

Booked for June.
Here's hoping they don't insert Michael Ball doing rap at the last minute.

Anyone passed the theatre? Intersted to see how twinkly the POS/Artwork on the exterior is. Photos?

Rumours This is going to be THE show of The year Exuding Glamour talent elegance and sheer class I'm hearing similar things. Invited dress is Tuesday. I can't make it due to work but I do know people who are going so will be interesting to hear what it is actually like.

Personally I thought there’d be more sparkle. But I still like it though. The colours are classic chic. Thats quite understated. I was expecting it to be a bit more Shaftesbury style.

Personally I much prefer the look of the theatre/signage at night rather than during the day, feel it stands out far more when it's dark. Must admit I'm far more excited about seeing this in a couple of months than I expected to be when I first booked

I walked past it a few weeks ago. I presumed that signage was temporary until it got closer to opening but clearly not. I would’ve expected a bit more sparkle from the signage, given the poster design.
It does stand out at night, to be fair.

Sorry, but that photo looks like a glamorous teenage hedgehog has got its hair done for a big night out on the town, and is having a laugh with its mates on the roof. Yep! Exactly how my hair was in the 80s. Fab u lous dahling!

Do alternates typically start in the preview period? Ash started in previews for Hamilton so I think it just depends. Do we know which shows the alternate will be doing? Matinees?

I must admit, I wasn't excited for this at all until I saw the outside of the theatre and I love it personally! I'm on board.
