Maybe Kerry really wants to originate a role for once rather than takeovers like before?

I admit I'm not fussed about Kerry (great singer but I don't really rate her as an actress) but the rest of the cast has convinced me to go. Doesn't appear to be well sold so far. Hopefully that'll change once they've announced the full cast.

This looks like a right stinker. The Arts theatre is the home of terrible musicals

The Arts theatre is... terrible Fixed that for you MrB. From programming to lack of any kind of proper front house, from a crap (and blisteringly hot) auditorium to a management team that a lot of my friends refuse to have anything to do with it, it is truly a wart on the West End. I cheered when they announced a new management team were coming in and gutting the whole building as I think that is the only way to make anything good out of The Arts at this point.

Perhaps they ought to rename it to shake off the bad reputation. I must admit I avoid going at all costs after two uncomfortable experiences.
"The other other Palace. No. Not that one. Or that one. Or that one either. Yep, you got it, the one that looks nothing like a Palace in any way shape or form. That one."

Amazing! I never thought I'd be excited about seeing Matt Cardle in something, but after Memphis I'd love to see him somewhere else!

My main issue with Kerry Ellis is that she has two volumes. Loud and LOUDER! That's all very well when you're bellowing out the score to Wicked but she's got all of the subtlety of Donald Trump at the Mexican border with a sledgehammer, a megaphone and a cannon.

I thought Matt Cardle was supposed to be in this. Has he pulled out or been replaced by Ramin?

This was originally advertised as running until December. Does anyone know if that will still be the case?

Surprised that this is running at the Arts, and not in a bigger West End house with a cast like this. Perhaps they hope for a transfer?

Matt Cardle was supposed to do it. Must have dropped out. Not complaining about his replacement (Ramin). And thrilled to see Norman Bowman in a show in London again.

I'm very excited about this cast. I've wanted to see Kerry Ellis and Ramin Karimloo for ages, but I never got the chance to see them as I live far away. For them to be in the same show together is amazing. The part that really sucks is that it will only run 1 month and once again I won't be able to make it unless they extend their run.

I'm booked in! When I looked at the last two Saturday evening performances there were only about 10 tickets left in the stalls so get in quick if you want to go!
EDIT: Seats left were when I booked via Ticketmaster, just realised you can book directly on their website and quite a few left there!

What a bizarre - if not exciting - cast for the Arts. Such a grungy venue...
