Lovely people, as the instigator of our meet up, I feel terrible typing this but as you might know, I was diagnosed with pneumonia earlier this week. I am not going to make it today. I had hoped that a combination of antibiotics and rest would make me fit enough to come but i am still really under the weather.
I’m really sorry. The table for 15 people in the main bar and is booked in my name, Suzi.

Oh gosh we are dropping like flies! I skipped Don Quixote earlier this week as I didn't think Rufus Hound would appreciate my hacking cough in the front row, and sad to say I don't dislike any of you enough to pass on my bugs so close to Christmas.
Many thanks @happysooz for organising and hope that those there have a great time and - maybe we try the next one in the summer?

Still aiming to get there for about 5:30, being positive it gives a warm dry place away from the hordes of Christmas shoppers to hang out whilst whiling away the time between plays.

The dreadful weather is making me think I’ll be there rather sooner than planned but I will be there at some point.

Heading there post-matinee; thank you to @happysooz for arranging & sorry you're unwell; seems extra hard on you in the circumstances.

I’m there now - is anyone else here or are you hiding because you think I might be Parsley?

I am very sorry. I ended up having to work, then review a show and now seeing friends this evening so just couldn't squeeze it in.
Can I request a spring meet when we are more healthy and have no festive commitments

Good to see those of you I met earlier (I had visions of being the only person to turn up) - I’m feeling a bit guilty about going to a Christmas drinks event and not actually saying Merry Christmas to anyone so as to prove I’m not a misery guts: ’Merry Christmas!’

Can we get a review? Anything for the “bad Behavior thread?”

Couldn't make it to London today, but if anyone is perhaps around on 3rd or 12th January, it might work out for coffee on those days.

What happens in Theatre Board meet up stays in the Theatre Board meet up.
All I can say is the coke flowed freely.
Good to meet up with those who attended, and the choice of venue was excellent.
Here’s to the next one whenever it may be.

Can we get a review? Anything for the “bad Behavior thread?” No bad behaviour from me, I hope - well, not alcohol-related, anyway, as I didn't risk a drink due to having a long film to follow - and the gentlemen I met were charming, interesting and behaved impeccably. Though where was the rest of the female contingent?

Sorry I missed you showgirl!

I too enjoyed meeting everyone, it was nice to put names to faces, especially when you get an impression of someone in your head and then meet them and they turn out completely different than expected and great we are all driven by that one passion, that no outsider understands except us!!!
It was agreed we should do this again and I think this to be an outstanding idea. Anytime between matinee and evening performance be good for me.
Great venue choice, sorry to here about the organiser was indisposed, I only found out when one of those blasted white slip of paper, fell out of the programme.

I'm in London on Wed 2 so if it ends up being that day I'd be happy to join in with any get-together; just wouldn't go on two consecutive days so not going to be there on Thurs 3 also.

I don't think I'll be in London again till Feb but I will keep an eye out for any meet-ups - I generally go for Saturday matinees and the Phoenix is close to Euston.

OK, we can keep in touch on 3rd if working out for coffee that day - also need to check train times. Perhaps if it works out before a matinee, and some more people from theatreboard would be around that day, we could see if such a second (late) Christmas drink works out:)

Just a suggestion but if anyone is planning to organise another board meet it’s probably best to start a new thread.

Don't think its worth starting another thread just yet, but maybe something around Easter time? Weather will (hopefully) be better (well it can't be much worse than what we had at the weekend, thats for sure) and hopefully flus, colds and general maladies will be down on what everyone I know has been suffering recently.
