Saw it last night and it is indeed excellent. I won't spoil the surprise, but it is very well done. For me, it's the best play I've seen at The Minerva this season. Good luck in getting a ticket though, it's completely sold out. I kept checking back and managed to get a couple of returns.
Dito, as I was meant to see the matinee yesterday but was en route to hospital instead. Of all the many bookings I had to change/cancel/abandon, this was the one about which I was most disappointed, as there was no option but to miss out altogether.
Do hope it not only transfers but soon - & certainly not 2 years later, as with Pressure.
No, thank you, theatremonkey.com; long-planned elective op brought forward but I've regretted missing this production ever since, so for once will bite the bullet and pay the (Menier) price when public booking opens - even though the cast has yet to be announced.
The website says this is 'based on the Chichester production' which is an interesting phrase. Presumably new cast (mainly?) with the same director (Sam West) but differently configured for a different auditorium?
