Correct result based on that dance-off given their dances this week (though neither were good), but such a shame for Vick. She had so much potential and I blame Graziano entirely for her exit - his choreography is dreadful and he clearly can't teach proper technique either. Though maybe that isn't surprising given how poor his own dancing is...he should never have been hired.

Shirley did call out the faffing this week. Sad for Vick who was promising in ballroom. But yes, it was all about Graziano, wasn’t it? I wonder if he will be in next year. I suppose they have contracts. He seems a nice lad but a bit too much in front of his partner. Contrast Pasha who always presents his partner to her advantage.

They tried to make Vick the 'sexy' one this year - with the excessively revealing costumes. She didn't have the technique to back it up
But Seann should have gone. He just can't dance either.

Both dances were iffy - I suppose a close call, but I think Vick had more potential. Graziano was definitely to blame with the choreography for her exit.

Glad Seann's gone, hope this is just an off week for Graeme as he isn't the worst left. Ranj needs to go!

Ranj is smiley and enjoying himself.
Lauren just seems stiff and mardy every week. There is no performance factor from her.
So I would say goodbye to her first.
But it was the right result tonight. Seann was not on the beat once during that dance. It takes a very special skill to dance a waltz on the second beat of the three.

The right result this week. Most weeks so far in fact. A lot of good dancers though this year, hard to call it. Though as we all know, those at an advantage rarely win no matter how good they are. My bet is on Joe at the moment.

This will upset some people - if confirmed.... (there is some doubt at the moment):
Ranj & Janette Charles & Karen
Going home is Dr Ranj
** Now confirmed **

I would have thought Ranj would have a bigger fan base than Danny John Jules (but maybe I am not understanding how Strictly exits work?)

So how many dance offs has Charles been in and yet the judges get rid of Dr Ranj in his first?
Does Charles share the same agent as Craig?
Boo.

So how many dance offs has Charles been in and yet the judges get rid of Dr Ranj in his first? Does Charles share the same agent as Craig? Boo. Funnily enough they're supposed to save the better dancer, previous is irrelevant. And on that basis the result was indisputable. I would have thought Ranj would have a bigger fan base than Danny John Jules (but maybe I am not understanding how Strictly exits work?) The way Strictly exits work is that after Halloween and before Blackpool the weaker dances left do tend to get weeded out. So on that basis Lauren or Kate should probably go next week as the unlucky person eliminated just before Blackpool.

Well we all know that's not really true and if indeed that's really what they are supposed to do then the judges are wildly inconsistent with that.

How did Danny Houdini get through that? He completely messed up, more than I’ve seen in the last few series, so wow, he must have a good fan base.

Charles has scored higher than Ranj across the series but I would have thought Ranj would have had a sizable fan base with all the This Morning mob behind hi,. Danny is very well known for Red Dwarf so could pull in a fan vote from there.

Is Red Dwarf still a thing? I would have thought that fan base was rather past it. Like myself 😂

I wonder why Craig saved Ranj over Charles? I usually agree with Craig actually so interesting the other three disagreed.

The right one left. It will be difficult in a couple of weeks as there are quite a few decent dancers this year. Very difficult to call it. Still think Joe and maybe Stacey.

Here we go:
Danny & Amy vs Graeme & Oti
Leaving Danny & Amy
Can't say I disagree with the result - but suspect the negative press stories didn't help

Yes I saw something on Facebook about Danny and Amy having an argument, her crying, him being accused of bullying. Sounds very iffy.

I must say I don't think Danny has come across particularly well in this series. He's not struck me as someone who would be particularly nice. And that was before the press stories this week too.

Same, same. You know when you just don't warm to someone on first sight? and then nothing about him (on interviews VTs etc) did anything to alter that. This board was the first I'd heard of any stories, but it doesn't surprise me. And he certainly wasn't as good a dancer as he clearly thought he was!

But Graeme's dance off was a mess. I simply don’t get that one. Not that I like Danny much but I thought he improved that dance off performance.

Yes, I agreed with Craig - Danny is far the better dancer, but as others have said it isn't really a dance competition but a popularity contest and I always thought from the start that Danny was "tricky".
Amy is probably relieved she doesn't have to spend another week in the rehearsal studio with him!

Given the press surrounding Danny - whether it be completely true, an exaggeration or completely fabricated - I can't help but think that the BBC are glad to be rid of someone who could tarnish the brand (particularly as Seann staying longer than he should after kiss-gate really didn't help the show)

I actually thought it may have been Lauren and AJ.
If Charles and Kern were in the dance off again after that performance I would have said the show was rigged.
