It's odd. I think the picture looks better without her, in that they're more evenly spaced, so they should just pick a different picture. I can't imagine how awful that must make you feel when they've actively cut you out. (In fairness, in the original she actually looks photoshopped into it.) Interestingly, the show just changed marketing agencies (again), I wonder if this is anything to do with it? I must say their posters are fairly uninspiring. That is interesting!! It does seem really bad when all six of them were nominated as Best Actress together (regardless of how you feel about the nomination).

The issue maybe that Michelle was off ill for a lot of the previews when these photos will have been taken so presumably they cropped the understudy out.
All a bit academic now I should think as I cannot see the show lasting that long.

Someone replied with the photo including her saying they preferred which she replied to saying how grateful she was.

The posters with all girls are the versions where Michelle was photoshopped in.

Looks like this has now been completely re-priced.
More price bands, cheaper seats available on all levels, and now Premium Seats as well...£85 Mon-Thu/£95 Fri-Sat. Maybe this is the toss up for altering the other price bands?
I guess what this shows is that, sadly, in this case, the Producers' experiment on pricing didn't work. Probably not helped by other issues with the show/marketing though.
EDIT- to confirm new prices:
Mon-Thu:
Stalls £29.50, £40, £52.50, £69.50, £85 Dress £52.50, £69.50, £85 Upper £19.50, £29.50, £40, £52.50
Fri-Sat:
Stalls £35, £45, £55, £75, £95 Dress £55, £75, £95 Upper £25, £35, £45, £55

If people are not willing to pay the old prices, what use is it making some of the prices even higher? Quite! I think, and I may well be wrong, the reasoning is more that whilst there are higher prices, there are more lower priced tickets. So, for example, adding some £95 premium tickets (and there are people who will pay that!) means that they can increase the number of cheaper tickets available. So someone on a budget of £40 can now sit in the Dress Circle in a seat that was originally £69.50, for example. Hope that makes some sense, it quite possibly doesn't!

I agree TM. Whilst "no premium seats" is great, my long standing opinion has been that I don't mind premiums and/or super high pricing if it means we get a winder range and choice of cheaper seat prices/locations.
That's why I don't mind Hamilton's pricing, but thought Elf's was despicable.

Last night the upper circle was closed and the box office told me they weren't selling any tickets. It was 100% on sale online when I looked earlier today. Yes indeed, but going on yesterdays experience that's not where you would see the show, my guess is they were not selling any tickets for the upper circle in person on the day in the end I bought a day seat for £20 in the stalls front row.

Ah yes sorry, now I understand you. You're right, if they were planning to close a level on a given day they won't sell tickets in person even if it's available online. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

So because daniel wanted an understudy list as his programme doesn't have one as he has one of the old programmes, I typed out the Understudies to send to him. As it was effort, thought I might as well post it here too. It's probably been posted already but here it is again then, the effort may as well be put to use. Notably, other than Miss Wilson, there is only one understudy per role and they are listed under headshots rather than a list, which I think is actually a little bit shady but whatever. Jenny: Victoria Blackburn Lawrence/Colin/Dennis: John Davitt Cora/Ruth: Soo Drouet Annie: Jenny Gayner Rod/John: Steve Giles Danny/Tommo/Doctor: Frazer Hadfield Chris: Shirley Jameson Marie/Lady Cravenshire/Miss Wilson: Jane Lambert Celia/Miss Wilson: Rebecca Louis Jessie/Brenda: Judith Street

I know, for instance, that soo drouet covers miss Wilson, Fraser hadfield covers Lawrence and Claudia Bradley covers Chris. Jane lambert was on for Brenda tonight too. In fact the newest programmes list the second and third covers as well - I just had a look. New cast members have joined it seems.

I only saw the show about a month ago with just first understudies listed and they had programmes with no understudies at all at the beginning of previews. Three programmes in just three months, wow, they are really pissing away their money over there aren't they!

Does anyone have the current up to date covers list? They won't be pissing money away, they'll just have changed the design when they came to re-order their next batch happens quite frequently anyway because adverts change!

Well I went to this musical this evening with Warren, oh boy did we have a good laugh and cry tonight.
I loved the non-linear structure to the songs & just how lyrical they were. I had reversations about the set pre-show but in fact it was all rather clever & it felt right it was rather simple and grounded.
The cast were all on form, I s not the greatest musical to land in the West-End but I thought it was a charming entertaining night at the theatre!
Got to speak to Claire at the end, and just came across a total fan boy saying how much I loved her in 'Made In Dagenham' & 'Titanic'!!!

Saw this tonight and was disappointed immensely. Except for the last 20 minutes I found the whole thing incredibly dreary. All the songs sounded the same. Also thought the lighting was terrible. People standing in darkness for most of the time.
