The scene where the still life tableaux where the photos are taken were sort of funny and well done. Although that whole cakes-with-cherries-in-front-of-the-tits has been done to death. Zzzz. I suppose London won't care about the accents. We all sound the same to you I'm sure. Which is fine because you all sound the same to us too I can't see it getting any "stellar casting" George! Isn't Manchester in Yorkshire?

If it does turn out to be January then I for one wouldn't mind. Claire Machin was one of the best things about it. The West End will be unrecognisable come 2017 if it does, with lots of change on the horizon - mostly for the better.

Looks like this is definitely transferring to London with a theatre to be announced soon! If you look at their most recent Twitter post, it is a map of all London Theatres with the words "guess"

I would assume that if they put that kind of picture up, they would already have a theatre in mind or even booked.

This just feels like this story has been done to death, between the uk tours and west end run of the play and also the movie, is there an audience for a musical

I have to agree, this is kinda that show that is transferring that I am just a bit meh about. I don't really care that it is coming at all. I am sure it is great and everything but, yeah meh.

I'm the opposite, the film is one of my favourites so I would love to see the musical. Think a recast would happen though. I'm the same about shows such as Hamilton, Finding Neverland and School of Rock; they're meh shows for me. Last time I was so happy for a transfer was Dreamgirls/The Bodyguard

Ooooo I am so excited for Finding Neverland and School of Rock. Hamilton, I agree is meh, but only because I don't wanna be disappointed because of all the hype so I don't even know if I wanna risk seeing it.

Let It Be isn't really a musical and you can't really compare with Mowtown.

Hang on a bit, you are from Manc?
Oddly enough to I am just on my way back from South Yorkshire, where I have just seen flowers from Mrs Harris.
I saw this in Manchester and just found the first half, didn't go anywhere, picked up in the second half, still a poor musical. They need to rework the first half, or better still condense it into a 90 minute interval-less show, that may resolve the problems in the first half.
