A few questions - i'm going Thursday, on a £20 ticket from last minute. Are they decent seats or will it just depend on whats left on the night? Are the songs 'Home' and 'Once More I Can See' still in the show? I'm only going for the score/power ballads

All I can say is that yes both songs are still there.
Looking at the theatre, it doesn't look like there are bad seats TBH. There don't seem to be any obstructions.

I'm only going for the score/power ballads I've sat on all three levels over the times I've been there since December, truly none of them have been a bad view so I wouldn't worry.

Thank you both! The 2 songs i mentioned are both my 'go to' songs in the shower. Nothing beats a good power ballad in a shower

I'm really looking forward to Saturday. Saw this twice in Oxford (God love £15 tickets) and have really grown fond of the score. I Will Prevail is just INSANE. Can't wait to see Kerry, and just kept swept up in the nonsense of it all again!

Thursday matinee.
Kerry was brushing at her hair all the way through. Extremely distracting and totally unprofessional from someone so experienced.
Don't understand why she has not been pulled up on this.

She was on The Wright Stuff on TV the other day too so at least she is consistent!

I've seen some crap in my time and this is right up there.... It was terrible. It made absolutely no sense. I love the OBCR and think the score is good, but you wouldn't know it from this production.
Dave Willets was the only half decent thing about it. The girl playing the daughter was the worst thing I have seen on stage in a very long time.
The stalls were not even half full. We got our tickets thus week and were right in the middle of row G.
At least Tweedledee had a good pair of legs to look at.

Compared to what else was on that stage he was great. I thought 'I Am My Own Invention' was very delivered really well.
I'll stick to the cast recording.

I have to admit that the show made perfect sense to me. Its not the best show in the world and the "go through the looking glass" "no!" scenes do seem to go on for years but in terms of plot and what was happening on stage it was pretty straightforward.

Just bumped into Ms. McQueen in the box office (lovely girl, very friendly!) correct me if I'm wrong though, she seems awfully young, she must be one of the youngest of of played Elphaba in London? Very sweet though!

So I really, really enjoyed this! I know I may be in the minority, but I had so much fun! Sure its not perfect, but its got a great score, the design is fabulous and the cast are fantastic! I personally think Kerry was sensational, she killed the vocals and I really enjoyed her acting! She must of been having an off night though, as there was no hair tucking at all! Natalie really tore it out as Hatter, giving Kerry a run for her money! She played crazy really well also special mention to the Cheshire Cat who I thought was fantastic too. I loved the costumes, really clever in my opinion. But yeah, it was a really fun and enjoyable night. And clearly the audience found it too. Upper Circle closed but the Stalls were full and most were standing at the end of the show. And the finale of Act I had applause going before it even ended! I can't wait to see it again in Richmond later in the year!

I sent my friend in the US a cheeky boot of This is Who I Am. He's very anti-Wildhorn. His response was: "Okay, so that was loud. And I guess this is who she is."

Chesire Cat? Loved him. He was the only one of the Wonderland characters save for The Mad Hatter that i cared for at all. I thought he was really good.

I don't remember much but even I saw this, I thought the Cheshire cat and the actor were both very annoying.

Isn't he supposed to be annoying? Probably. I think Dom did a great job with what he was given. He was just given a dreadful character. I hated his new song

I just thought he was a great performer. Whenever he was onstage, I couldn't help but watch him, he was constantly engaging. And in a show with so much going on onsyage all the time, Dom did a fantastic job!

Natalie's understudy Francesca Lara Gordon is on tonight for The Mad Hatter! But I believe Natalie did the matinee and she sounded fantastic last night, so I assume she just got ill overnight or during the matinee.

She sounded great this afternoon. I'm gutted to have missed Francesca by one show - not that I'd have been able to go anyway, since Saturday is the one day there's no late train back to Coventry for some unknown reason.

I enjoyed it (not my first time seeing it) as much as I could focus on it, which wasn't much unfortunately. The audience around me were utterly obnoxious. I put a vent in the bad behaviour thread in the interval, and it didn't improve during act 2. If anything it got worse, since a bucket of popcorn appeared.
Sure, the show is fluffy and silly and the book could do with a lot of work, but it's very enjoyable for what it is and the cast are fabulous.
