It would be great to have Danielle Steers as ‘Killer Queen’ if she wanted to go back there properly I would pay good money to see Danielle as Killer Queen! She'd be amazing!

We Will Rock You tour was scheduled to open at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley on Thursday 19 September running until Saturday 21 September. I had a booking for the opening night but I have received notification today that Thursday and Friday have both been cancelled " due to the technical challenges of launching a major new production ". The two Saturday performances are going ahead but sold out so my booking is being transferred to a return visit of We Will Rock You w/c Monday 1 June 2020 with a refund available if preferred.
As it happens the ticket was purchased for my son as I had already booked to see WWRY at Ipswich the following week when Bromley went on sale so not too much of a disappointment for me but I am surprised they would cancel two out of four performances in such a short run. There's no other show booked that week so presumably the company could have had access from the previous Sunday onwards.

Was this their location for tech runs/public dress rehearsals? 4 shows seems bonkers in the first place.

The Jason Manford musical Curtains has a similar short run at the Churchill in October and that's from Friday to Sunday, also just 4 performances. Possibly to gain media attention at a venue close to London ?

I wondered when they would announce the postponement, it hasn’t even been cast yet!

I wondered when they would announce the postponement, it hasn’t even been cast yet! Mmm. Hope I'm wrong but I've got a bad vibe about this revival It was on sale at Ipswich for a few weeks before any other dates announced, then a preceding very short run at Bromley now curtailed to one day, followed by a full tour schedule well into 2020 but information about the actual show is very late.

Still nothing on this casting wise which does seem a little strange but don't think we can be too far off now. They had casting call backs mid June ish. Very intruiged by what this tour will be like. I do miss the show at the Dominion.

They had a bit of a hiccup with casting - last I heard they were searching for an Alternate Galileo so an announcement will probably come soon after he has been found.

No nasty accident with the original choice, I hope... casting director wandering around in a daze singing Bo Rap?

I hope in any casting announcement, these guys are considered for a role in the tour. A fantastic rendition of Bo Rap -

So, we now know Danielle Steers will not be Killer Queen since the SIX announcement. Can they just announce the tour cast already?

It seems to have been cast well. I was a maaaaassssive WWRY fanboy back in the day (saw it way too many times) so excited to see this.
