unfortunately it's 3 and a half hours no interval. they lock the doors too. Programmes are £7.43, no dogs and only slight nudity. How much are they spending on costumes? and is there a tap routine? There are no solid gold tap shoes, and no animals were killed in the making of the non-existent fur coat.

How deliciously wicked you all are! I sincerely hope Everyone's Talking About Parsley has a fantastic run and recoups it's investment within days!

There will be security bag searches, although Chanel bag-holders will be waved through, dahling.

They will add a special chorus of BEND IT, BEND IT...They will close the balcony though, unlike 42nd Street which is the BEST SHOW EVER, and unlike AMERICAN IN PARIS, which has no business being on the West End, right Parsley? If people take a minute not to spew hate, they would see that there is something for everyone on the West End, and just because a show isn't to your liking, doesn't mean it doesn't have merit.

I was going to say, I can't wait to see how the words are delivered with so many pauses.

So happy to hear this. Definitely an all-British musical I would love to see and support, versus something like The Girls, which felt like yet another musical targeted to the Mrs Henderson Presents crowd (which I enjoyed enough, but my gosh not another show you take your grandmother to..Mind you my granny isn't alive, but I digress). The official opening night is actually on my birthday

Despite coming from similar backgrounds in pop, I think Dan Gillespie Sells and Gary Barlow seem to be quite different in their attitudes and this is very evident in the two shows.
See? How nice did I say that without slagging GB off?

I am so excited for this, Pinocchio and the site-specific Witness for the Prosecution.
I'm looking forward to finally see this after missing the Sheffield run. A rarity - a brand new home grown musical with an original story!! The songs sound fabulous, too, but I do adore DGS.

Wouldn't normally be for me, but Tamsin Carroll is in the cast so she will most likely draw me in.

I hope the show itself comes across better than the cast recording.. the score sounds very poor on that.

I haven't seen the show or heard any of the Cast Recording, so would it be fair to say that this is the British version of Hedwig?

Not quite the villain but not a sympathetic character either.

I thought Siobhan faired better but it's a terrible role....Ellen is the Cosette of the piece...where Kim is the Eponine.
I want to smack Cosette in the face..good god, get a grip girl.

She's a great actress. But her voice is too classically trained for this rather poppy-score. We can argue about singing, but I think we can all agree she looked much older than the leading man. Siobhan was the best IMO, and at this point I think I've seen six of them.

He's gone through trauma in Saigon, returns to US and marries someone who is capable of taking care of him. He has a child with a 17 yr old girl. Maybe Ellen isn't able to give him a child. FGS theatre is more interesting when representation isn't predictable. And the role, like any role in a Musical isn't just about singing!

You really put a lot of effort into making her casting work for you. Well, I'm glad it worked for you. But nah, not convinced.

Yep, it really worked for me and I saw virtually every Ellen during the 10yr run at Drury Lane. Sorry it didn't work for you though. Never mind. BTW don't patronise me by saying I had to put a lot of effort in. I could retaliate but am not prepared to stoop so low. Sister Mary Ann will say a Hail Mary for you.

You do that. And I'll pray that Sister Mary Ann gets laid.
Bitchery aside- which is always something I love and encourage, I think we can agree that we're looking forward to seeing her in Jamie? Yes? Yes.

Haven't read back through what everyone else has said so I don't know if I'm repeating what you already know but This show is now listed as taking part in West End Live.
