I feel quite sad that Vicki and Courtney are leaving already. It seems very very soon - is that normal? Millie and Maiya I can get my head round - they've been in it ages and probably want to do other things. But the other two still seem so new... I've only seen it once in London, about 3 weeks ago, and saw Courtney as Parr, but I haven't seen Vicki and won't now. I've seen everyone else, including a Grace Parr and a Grace Howard. It is short! I wonder if they've both got other shows booked, or if they're doing the tour? I'm sure we'll find out over the summer
I really hope they're doing the tour - it would seem to make sense for the show, to have some experienced cast members. Plus they'd bring a lot of fans with them, I'm sure.

Agreed, and the timing of it would work!

Maiya says she's definitely not doing the tour or anything. Vicki's message also sounded pretty much like a definite leaving. Oh dear.

Tour cast should be announced soon and it would make sense for some of the girls who have played the role to be part of it I'm waiting to see who they cast for the tour with interest as it can almost be a free hit casting as far as race, hair colour, body shape to a certain extent etc.
Does anyone know what "playing age range" they have asked for the casting call as the ages of the ladies in real life varies a bit. I'd have thought 18 to 35 would be the sort of range they might use.

I think Francesca Mills would be brilliant in Six. I saw her in the Crucible Midsummer Night's Dream last year and she was so funny and energetic and such a good dancer. I want to see her in lots more things.

Just announced that the show is going to the Birmingham Hippodrome next year. That’s quite a big theatre compared to where it has played before

Fair play to them. Can’t deny that the show has been very successful and continues to be so. Still a show I’m yet to see but will hopefully now be able to see it in Birmingham.

Just been checking the alternates’ twitters and it would be my luck that the only lead queen off when I go on Thursday is who I was most looking forward to seeing (Aimie)! But Grace is on as Howard so it will be fab to get to see her before she leaves, covering 6 lead roles is legend status! Also very glad that Maiya will be on seeing as she’s now leaving soon-ish.

Anyone know which shows will have a full cast this month?
I might be able to catch it in the last 2 weeks of july thanks to some early finishes and want to see Natalie deffo, and possibly Maiya if I can- do we already know what dates they're off?

The Mayflower holds 2,300 and the Hippodrome 1,850 so playing a week at those sort of venues will be a different dynamic to the 350 capacity Arts Theatre. I hope the show can work at bigger venues.
Thanks to Dontdreamit for posting the casting details. The part about female identifying performers can apply is interesting. I wonder if a drag performer who says they identify as a female character on stage could apply. Some of the best drag queens could be great in one of those roles.

Yes, the alternates have already posted their dates on their Twitter accounts. The only shows currently scheduled in July with a full cast are: 3rd July 5th July 7th July evening 16th July 17th July Aimie is off the week beginning 9th July Alexia is off from 20th July through the whole of the following week.

I'm hopefully going next month if I get lucky with TodayTix rush, where I will have Courtney Seymour and Vicki Cleves. I'm a little sad as Natalie and Alexia are my favourites but I haven't seen Vicki or Courtney before so it'll be good to hopefully see them before they depart.
As for the tour, Maiya and Millie probably won't be doing it as they've been in the show for just over a year now and will probably want to move on. Vicki and Courtney though, they've only really been with the show since January and are scheduled to depart in October, just as the tour starts, which makes me think they could be lead queens in that cast.

I'm not sure about Courtney, but by Vicki's wording of her recent message on Twitter thanking everyone for all the support it sounded like it was a definite leaving and she wouldn't be joining the tour cast.
As much I would have liked to have seen Millie and Vicki join the tour cast I am convinced there will be a totally fresh new cast.

Grace and Vicki haven't posted their dates for the 2nd half of July (Courtney has). I wonder if this has anything to do with Shekinah joining and potentially getting a few shows while Alexia is on vacation.

Show is now sold out from 1st-18th July with 19th-24th only having single seats remaining. It's selling incredibly well! I suppose a lot of people will now be buying tickets to see Millie, Maiya, Grace, Vicki and Courtney before their last shows.

I looked at booking for the 21st, but there were only a couple of seats left at prices that I'm not really willing to pay for such a short show. I guess I'll just hope for the best with rush that day.

What's people's experiences with getting seats for this on the day? Is the rush busy, do they often have returns?
Great that it's selling out- but so frustrating when I have such short notice!

TodayTix sell 6 (count em) rush tickets at 10am every day. It is VERY competitive and every time I've entered I have lost. To win, you need luck, and additional entries from people who are willing to enter on your behalf.

I've had no luck with rush the last 2 times I've tried (one of those was for a 2 show day too)😒 I've only been trying for shows where Vicki is on.

I hope they aren't going all in a bit too fast.
The tour seems very extensive and in some really big venues.

I am quite worried for the tour. It is a small scale productions, and I can't help but feel that some of the larger houses on tour such as Birmingham Hippodrome, Mayflower and Edinburgh FT will swallow it up.
When they first announced they were playing the Festival in Edinburgh I thought they meant the Festival Studios behind it which would be much more suited to Six.
Even the Hippodrome has the small-scale Patrick Studio which would have worked there...
