All I want is Aladdin! Just can't get anywhere. The rest of the tickets I want can wait, because I think they'll be available for a few weeks still, but Aladdin I think will sell quickly.

Well I managed to get in, but on the days that I'm free the ticket allocations for shows I want to see just aren't good enough for me to book. I can get better deals via Day Seats/Lottery/Rush tickets. It's a good selection of shows this year, though, so people who can't rely on last-minute ticket deals should find plenty to be happy about.

Had a look for The Birthday Party, Mary Stuart, The Ferryman and pretty confident better offers will crop up for all of those. Thinking about Long Day's Journey into Night but having seen it in Bristol I'm not that fussed.

Finally managed to get through and book a couple of shows. One of them gave me an error after I clicked Pay, but ended up getting a confirmation email a few minutes later anyway

Managed to get 2 £40 tickets for Les Mis but near the rear of the dress circle, so a bit disappointing but couldn't risk losing them due to the issues on their website.

Given up on trying to get through for this, think I might just wait until the general sale. Lots of good deals in there though.

The website seems to have recovered a bit. I've managed to book for Christmas Carol and Five Guys Named Moe.

It was a shamble when I tied on Friday (looked at 4 or 5 shows, and every time, when I selected a date it just said 'we can't find the event you're looking for') but tried again today and have got front row for The Show That Goes Wrong the first Friday of the New Year - if its not 'the most hilarious show ever', you'll spot me as the man sat down the front looking like a pissed off Oscar the Grouch.

I've thrown caution to the wind and, after running for 52 years already, I've finally booked to see The Phantom of the Opera. Hopefully, emicardiff will not reveal the ending BEFORE my visit!

I don’t know how tall you are Paul but the legroom at Her Madge is absolutely dire, even in premium seats. I had to be moved to a box. Suggest you get there early in case arrangements have to be made!

I had to be moved to a box To be fair, most theatres keep one so they can carry out certain people discreetly... Ryan? [Sorry Ryan - couldn't resist].

Surely @ryan would prefer a box IN which to carry on discreetly?

Fair point, but I'm sure he'd carry it off with his legendary style and flair - thereby possibly stealing the show.

Does anyone remember how TodayTix lotterys, rush and theatre Day Seats behaved in January last year during this? Did they go quiet or still run?
