And my guess is that Curious Incident at the Piccadilly will extend til 27th April as those dates were first mooted on the NT website. We'll see!

Haven't seen this mentioned on here, but Sharon will not be appearing on Jan 07 (Mon), 14 (Mon), 21 (Mon), 28 (Mon) and Feb 04 (Mon).
At these performances, Naana Agyei-Ampadu will be playing Caroline. So basically Naana will be Sharon's alternate for that month.

Seats seem expensive.

Every seat is discounted on LoveTheatre during previews. I just paid a tenner for the Upper Circle, where the whole Circle is a tenner per seat!

Free tickets if your name is Caroline? A sudden rush to change your name by deedpole?

A sudden rush to change your name by deedpole? For a long time, I thought that people were saying "changed their name by depot"...

I've been told a lot of good things about this and would like to see it. I've also never been to the Playhouse!...exciting.
I'm not sure if it's because of the advertising but I thought this was a play!

Carolines only get a free ticket with a purchase of at least one other ticket, so probably just easier to find a friend called Caroline and ask her to split the cost of the not-free ticket.

Strangely I met a Caroline last night as a friend of a friend on our quiz team. I showed her the deal during the break and she said she’d seen a previous production but was left disappointed

I swear the industry only started offering all these young persons discounts the second I turned 26. Knowing my luck they’ll probably stop all the senior discounts when I reach 60.

They've already cut back on senior discounts. The National, which until recently offered senior discounts on midweek matinees, has changed its policy, only allowing them on cheaper seats. Other theaters are beginning to do that as well. A few museums, for example the Royal Academy, which offers a number of discounts to various groups, has discontinued its senior discount.

This isn't selling at all, so there will be plenty of discounts around soon.

I can't even begin to imagine who thought this would sell at all. And then people complain about Mischief Theatre shows clogging up theatres....

Reading about it now, this doesn't seem like my kinda show at all, however I live in hope Sharon will be good enough a reason to go.

I enjoyed it at National a few years ago and Tonya Pinkins was excellent.
Will try to see this new production at some point.

Loved it at the Nash, saw it twice. Loved it again and Hampstead but I only wanted to see it once.
It’s a very bold and foolish move to transfer it into Wendy’s End. Surely all the theatre geeks had already seen it at Nash, Chi or Hampstead ?
I, of course wish it well

I wish it well too. With bells on.
Far rather this was in the Playhouse than Lord of the Dance or Rip It Up.
