Who'd have thunk that Jackman and Kidman could be in such a crock of do doos?
I've survived about 40 minutes and am about to hurl something. I mean. Take a brilliant Aussie actress, send her off to the Outback with a brilliant, gorgeous Aussie actor and....make her do an English aristocratic accent for which she obviously had Julie Andrews' Mary Poppins on a loop whilst researching.
I love Nicole but must admit I did struggle big time with that film.
3 pages and still no love for Ferris Bueller? It is the ultimate duvet day film!
OMG how could I leave it off? I adore that film.
It's quite a generational one I think- many of the others on my list I can share with my Mum and/or she introduced me to. However she LOATHES Bueller with a passion that is quite hilarious. Whereas for me it feels very much 'of my time'
I'm the right age for Bueller but when a friend from school who loved it showed it to me I lasted about 20-30 minutes and just gave up, hated it. For years I've been meaning to give it another go but have never got around to it.
A few I forgot earlier to join my offbeat comedies list though.
