Does anyone know how to get priority booking? Don't know if it helps you but just had a priority booking email from Atg for card holders. Ah, thanks, guess I'll have to wait for Monday then.

Could anyone share the list of performances for the last week of December please, especially the matinees?

Does anyone know how to get priority booking? Don't know if it helps you but just had a priority booking email from Atg for card holders. I've not listened to the show but loved the film, and that's a great cast. Guess i'm going to have to break my pledge to not arrange any more London trips this year :/ Looking at the ATG ticket prices it seems they wont be doing the £5 / £10 cheapies that they've done for previous shows Any chance you could PM the link please? Am a Theatrecard member, but like many others it seems, I rarely get the priority booking emails No need - ATG just tweeted link

I gather it's an ATG-produced show - potential transfer on the cards if it does well?

If anybody could help with a link so that I can book my brother's bday present early that would be amazing.

I've tried several times through their customer services to fix the problem to no avail. If anyone could PM me the link so I can login with my TheatreCard number and book that would be much appreciated! I have the same problem with a lack of ATG emails... so PM would be greatly appreciated here too!

Wouldn't get hung up on the ATG Card thing. It goes to their agency allocation, with a hefty booking fee and no seat selection option. I'm waiting for Monday, myself. Just discovered that - good call!

Thanks Monkey! By luck I'd booked a between Christmas break with Mum this week, so hopefully Big Fish is on the cards!

umm..isn't he like a bit too old to play young Edward Bloom? I honestly can't stand him, but that aside, I really don't think he's a good fit considering it's the same person who plays young and old Edward.

That's how it was on Broadway, but if you check the very first post in this thread, we see a tweet from Baz saying that Jamie Muscato will be playing young Edward.

Could work. Then again I wouldn't be surprised, if Mandy Patinkin is now playing Pierre, I guess anything is possible.

Currently the cheapest seat is £40+ for the row N and I'm not THAT interested. Surely there'll be discounts. Right?

Well if a transfer seems pretty likely from ATG's side (which I guess would mean a wider range of prices....by which I mean cheaper) then I'm no rush to get to see it at TOP. I'm away doing panto from early Nov so it'd only give me a few dates to fit it in, and even if the transfer doesn't happen, if there are no tickets at all sub £27 for that theatre, I don't think even Kelsey Grammer can get me there.

HAH. Just as I hoped, there's a matinee on Friday 29th December. I could do the crazy thing, book this, then scoot to Heathrow for the evening flight home. It worked once before.
But I'm starting to think this might indeed very well transfer later. While shows from the Other Palace haven't transferred as often as from the Menier, it has happened before right? Urinetown for one. Ah, decisions.

...i am an atg card holder Me too, but when I clicked through, I got it plus booking fees. Interesting. Still, am going to wait for Monday when I can choose my own seat, LOL. It is a bit confusing as my confirmation reads as follows... 2 x standard price at £47.60 each (includes £6.60 booking fee) Total sales price = £82.00 Will have to wait and see what comes out of my account!

The ATG pre-sale is linking through to Love Theatre "ATG Tickets powered by Love Theatre" hence the booking fees like any other agency, for those who are wondering.

It is a booking fee. Just tried to buy something as a test, and the "face value" if bought through the theatre direct is £41. The £6.60 is indeed an agency booking fee added on. It is clear on the confirmation screen once you have chosen your seat price and number of tickets, and they give you your seat numbers. Ah ok...tbh i didnt see any of that! Plus doing it on my phone makes things v small...You live and learn...😊

This is almost exciting enough to make me end my boycott of the St James Theatre due to legroom issues. Almost, but not quite.

YES! How I am going to squish this in is anyone's guess, but I've been curious about this show for so long. Somehow I have a sense that Broadway shows either transfer quickly as big West End productions or they take some years to transfer and then appear in much smaller houses. It's strange. For example I thought that "Once" (and years ago Spring Awakening) would have done much much better in a small intimate setting (such as indeed the Other Palace) whereas "Big Fish" is one that should be done on a bigger scale.
You're right that Big Fish was conceived and produced as a Big Broadway Show. It was one production number after the other. I'm not sure about its prospects in a more intimate setting - it really doesn't have enough quality in its book or its score.

Long time lurker and first time poster here! Just thought I'd chime in because I actually played in the band for a production of the 12 chairs (12 actor) version of this show earlier this year at a small 110 seat theatre here in Sydney which was very well received. That version, from what I understand, stripped quite a lot back to focus more on the family story, so if this version coming to London is similar to that the intimacy could actually really work in its favour.

If anyone else, like me, hasn't booked with the Other Palace in the last three months or so, they're forcing a password reset. Do it now, if you've got the chance, folks!

Well that's the smoothest booking all month. My password didn't need resetting, there was no queue, just straight in and out. Delighted but wary to see that row B also has the "cheapest" tickets, I will *definitely* need a legroom update from anyone who's going in November.
