Now that our new forum is established and to mark the official date of our moving out of the "other place", the TheatreBoard team have put together a press release which we are sending to relevant media outlets and contacts, including The Stage and a range of theatre websites.
We are proud of our new home and want to share it with as many fellow theatre fans as possible!
You should now feel free to tweet, Facebook-share and otherwise promote TheatreBoard.co.uk to your friends. If you run a blog, then we'd be grateful if you'd add a link to us - advert graphics/banners can be provided on request.
We are also excited to be able to launch our first ever competition - giving you the opportunity to win two tickets to "In the Heights", courtesy of Runaway Entertainment.
TheatreBoard has already received some welcome press coverage from a number of sources and particular credit should go to andy614 who has been working tirelessly behind the scenes. So far we have featured on:
mytheatremates.com were the first to publish our press release, thanks to Terri Paddock who, as part of What's On Stage, launched the original Theatre Forum. You can read the MyTheatreMates coverage here.
TheatreBoard has received more positive coverage, including supportive tweets and a recent news story on WestEndFrame which describes our launch. On Wednesday morning we were mentioned on the online musical theatre radio station TRC3 and the breakfast show presenter dedicated "There's No Business Like Show Business" to the forum launch
Shaun Nolan is a blogger in his own right and also for LondonTheatreDirect and he gives our andy614 a mention in dispatches with LondonTheatreDirect subsequently tweeting out his story out to more than 150,000 followers.
