I caught it yesterday - not my cup of tea. Overlong, too tame, too inconsequential a story (back of a fag packet type stuff). Why in so many of these old musicals does nothing of any real consequence happen? Very hokey. By gosh you are so right. It will never last.
Some folks like that kinda thing. Horses for courses. It was written in simpler times.

He has his own website which details his UK tours. Have a feeling he might have already done London concert but check it out. Sadly, the John Wilson Orchestra website says 'No Tour Dates' and 'No current news or announcements' If he's doing a Proms concert this year some details should be on the BBC website in Spring, and tickets on sale in May?

He must be doing Proms 2018 as his concerts are always one of the fastest selling and now part of Proms tradition
