I really didn't mean to upset or offend anyone by what I was saying, but it is just how I feel and I know a fair few of my generation feel too. I'm sorry. Please change how you feel.

The politicians like it if the people are politically apathetic, it's much easier to get things done if no one's fighting you. The more boring or complicated or irrelevant you find the whole affair, the more you should be paying attention, because that's just what they don't want.

ive recently had to research brexit for uni, pros and cons, economy etc and since then i am alot less worried about leaving, in fact if we voted again id be tempted to vote leave instead of remain.
The EU itself is a heavily flawed political institution (like most governments) that played a part in its own downfall. Sadly people have hijacked the vote for bigoted purposes or just gone with a 'leaving europe' idea when we have left the EU not Europe itself . The whole thing has been handled poorly on both sides but the decision has been made and we now need consistancy for the next few years if we are going to get best deal possible. Personally i hope we have a hard brexit now and make a clean break, a soft brexit is unlikely to please anyone
Bottom line is there are pros and cons to both staying and remaining and there are no winners or losers, it just depends how it affects you personally as to how you think. Peoples lack of understanding or willingness to see others viewpoints has made matters worse. To assume its all daily mail and sun readers who voted to leave is wrong. ive spoken to lots of people, many very educated people and there is definately a more balanced view out there. People just seem to prefer to making sweeping comments (either on the left or the right of politics)

Well, you guys who are in the group that didn't get to the voting station last time..'young' people that is, put a little note in your diaries. As for that silly woman on the tv who said, 'Not again' does she know that there are women, indeed men as well, who can't vote freely, don't know what voting actually is and would give their right arms to be in the UK and be able to vote? She should be shamed of herself. I have no time for people who moan and don't vote. Vote.

For source of record the BBC has long since left it behind. The BBC is nothing but a left wing mouthpiece which has been exposed far too often for spinning political stories to suit their agenda when they are meant to simply say what has happened and remained impartial. They are no better than Sky News. While The Times have never reflected the views of its owner. You might struggle to convince the left of the Labour Party that the BBC are a left wing mouthpiece. Though to be fair you'd struggle to convince anyone who doesn't spout extreme conspiracy theories.

So what do we have.
A general election that Conservatives should do well. But I think the Liberal lot will pick up more seats.
However if Labour did win or went into coalition it will validate Corbyn, however that is very very unlikely, so we are going to get a General Election in a months time that Corbyn will likely lose, opposed to one in 3 years time that Corbyn will lose. What this means the Labour Party can move on, after the next election and provide genuine opposition and win the 2022 general election, Than have a dreadful Tory government for the next 8 years. So what this means we get the Torys for a extra 2 years.
When George Osbourne said that Brexit would mean an emergency budget, he lied, he should of said it has brought down the bloody government.

Jeremy Corbyn will resign in the early hours of Friday 9 June 2017. I think the opposite will happen. I think 150 progressive MP's will resign/not get elected/be kicked out of the party and the Labour party can return to being a Socialist party for the people.
Go 'ed Corbyn

The difference is that the latter is meant to inform and educate NOT have a political standpoint which has led to it be discredited.
The hard-left of the Labour party would think everyone and everything right of the Morning Star is right-wing scum and I'm not sure of the point of your "conspiracy theory" statement.

Thrilled that I'll be in New York for the latter part of May so I don't have to hear quite so much about this nonsense. Oooh look at me I'm going to New York.
Seriously though, very envious.

For f***s sake So which points do you disagree with?
1) The Times is mildly right-wing 2) The BBC is meant to be impartial as it is the state broadcaster 3) The BBC has been seriously discredited by pushing a fierce left-wing (note not hard left or far left) position despite the requirement to be impartial 4) The hard-left in the Labour party see many things as right-wing which clearly aren't or as right-wing as they claim.
Or is For f***s sake your argument?

An independent Scotland seems more and more appealing eh. Tories never lose an election then

Compared to your BBC nonsense for f***s sake is a sane reasoned argument.

An independent Scotland seems more and more appealing eh. Tories never lose an election then Scotland has had the chance to vote twice for independence in my lifetime and rejected it twice. I see no reason why that would change in another referendum.
There are two factors which contribute towards this:
1) Scotland is affluent and people always vote with their wallets in mind 2) The Loyalists in Scotland will never vote for any severing of the Union like their allies in Northern Ireland would not. Only Glasgow voted yes and that was because the poorest of Scotland's population live there and the influence of 'republicanism' and hatred of the crown felt amongst supporters of Glasgow Celtic FC who dominate the City.

If you answer no to any of those questions please do not bother me anymore on this thread because you are not worthy of my time.

Yes.
Yes.
No.
Since you claimed it where is your proof of this left wing bias.
But then you apparently think Dundee is in Glasgow so you don't know much really do you.

I forgot about Dundee voting yes but it is impossible to not know that the BBC is subjected to many claims that it suffers from a left-wing bias unless you source your news and opinions from a very limited range of outlets or view the World as an ostrich.

I wrote pages as a reply and then crashed. This pretty much sums up my reply, but I finished with a FFS I refer you to my previous question and ask another 2:
1) Do you think the crown Loyalists in Scotland are a reason why Scotland voted no in two independent referendums?
2) Do you think Glasgow Celtic FC supporters played a significant role in Glasgow voting yes?

1 more than 2, that is a lot of celtic supporters in the country.
As close as Brexit last time. Small swing would give independence

Small swing would give independence There are a lot of Celtic supporters around Scotland but they are not as widespread as Glasgow Rangers fans (Hibs and Hearts fans are affluent Edinburgh so will vote No).
Glasgow will ALWAYS vote Yes because of the men from the Gallowgate.
* Not to patronise anyone on here but the significance of the football clubs is that, unlike England, the main rivalries in Scottish football are determined by religion with Glasgow Rangers fans being predominantly Loyalist Protestants and Glasgow Celtic fans being predominately Republican Catholics.
Hibernians and Hearts of Midlothian fans are also divided by sectarian grounds but the affluence of Edinburgh meant it had little impact on the referendum outcome.

I denied that it was the fact you were trying to make it out to be. Go ahead. Looking at your posts you've never said anything interesting about the theatre and your views here are ridiculous so I won't be missing much.
