She totally deserves it! It is such a strong category though, what an amazing line up of women! All of these women deserve to win it, so even if there is a surprise win, it is deserved! All these acting categories are amazing performances!

Great speech. I'm OK whatever happens now, Viola was the only one I really wanted to win after she was robbed for The Help!

Interestingly though... usually there is a surprise in the acting catagories. But both the sure bets won in the Supporting catagories. Does that mean there will be a shock in the Lead catagories? Or should we just expect the favourites to win?

Was the Moonlight man (sorry I can't remember his name) as sure bet? I didn't think so?

Was the Moonlight man (sorry I can't remember his name) as sure bet? I didn't think so? He was generally seen as the sure bet in America, with Dev Patel being the one coming close to him.

I imagine Zootropolis will win Best animation, it would be a shock if it didn't.
Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar really dominate this category, there have only been 3 non Pixar/Disney winners which were Shrek, Wallace and Gromit and Rango.

Kubo is a great film, I could see that winning. But I imagine it being Zootopia or Moana taking the win! Moana has no chance, it hasn't won anything awards wise so far and Disney have pushing Zootropolis more.

Oh I am so glad Piper won! Such a cute and beautiful little short before Finding Dory! First Pixar short to win in a long time. It's a good short but I much preferred Inner Workings which was paired with Moana, much funnier short.

Ah, here we go with the La La Land wins... looking at the announcements, from here onward I expect to see a lot more of La La Land. It has a chance of winning most of its other nominations!

It'll be interesting which of this year's animated films will fare awards wise next year, it's not as strong a year compared to last year. I could see them nominating The Lego Batman Movie to make up for not nominating The Lego Movie first time around. Pixar's Coco also looks likely too.
