Wonder why I'm still in a queue and hasn't just shown all gone then? Probably less people on today as it's a new thing, unless we were all testing it to see how it worked.

Out of interest did the booking start at 10am and is it a simple matter of entering the website and you instantly join the queue?
I haven't received any details via email about the Klaxon booking, even though I signed up to receive emails. I only knew that the booking was probably happening today

I clicked in to the website at 11.59. When the queue started I was allocated number 67. Took 13 minutes for me to get to the front but I got the two seats that I wanted. Looking forward to it since at the time of the Limehouse Declaration I was a political engaged 17 year old living half a mile away in Stepney. I remember we were all very impressed that someone as posh as David Owen was living close by (these were the days before much of the East End was gentrified!)

Well when I got in it just took me to the website like it looks on every other day, didn't say sold out, though presumably was from Polly1's experience. Have tried some of theatre monkey's techniques but whilst can now pick an individual date to check availability can't get it to show it for all the run, it won't highlight the whole run and there is no availability button for the first option.
Well done for those who succeeded, goodness knows what I'm doing wrong.

Had quick twitter exchange, they said tix still available and to call Box Office. Which I did and got tix! Lovely chap at BO, totally hacked off with website, says its useless! So you know what to do

Is this another website redesign that's worse than the original? I'm beginning to think I could make a packet on consultancy fees ;-)
Unfortunately I've just started a new job where I can't spend much time on the internet (indeed, it actively tries to block me using this site at lunchtimes!) so I'm too late to hear about tickets today. Have signed up for KLAXON but don't fancy my chances of being able to buy on my phone, given the problems everyone else has had with those awful overlays...

There's a £40 single available on the website for the April 6th Matinee if anyone wants to run and claim it! (alas, I can't go to weekday matinees, nor can I afford £40)

Have signed up for KLAXON but don't fancy my chances of being able to buy on my phone, given the problems everyone else has had with those awful overlays... I found the same, i.e. it wasn't broken, but they've sure as hell fixed it! The time change for the ticket release (from 10 am for Front Row to 12 noon for Klaxon - and why the stupid name? - is it like calling day seats "rush tickets"?) might have helped some, but not me, as it's still a Monday, which is one of my volunteering days, when like you, jeanhunt, I can't do personal stuff online or by phone. I did try when I had an official break but too late - not only did I then find myself in a queue but one they had apparently "paused" due to technical issues. Later I could see still tix available but not at prices I was willing to pay, so I may have to give up on this one.

it like calling day seats "rush tickets"?) Blame the Americans for that one - it's just a transatlantic imported name. Please don't say that too loudly or the NT may hear you and rename their day seats as "rush seats" to complement their full year of American work in the Lyttelton Theatre, which they'll probably rename the Lyttelton Theater.

Just looked at the Donmar Warehouse website, it says that there are 'limited availability' for tickets, however when I click on the seating plan it shows no seats are available.
Have I missed anything?

Looking at it, my guess would be some sort of system glitch. When that came up before you could click through and choose from the limited seats available

I found the same, having been checking several times per day, for days on end, for possible returns. Given the issues I've had with some sites, I thought perhaps it was Chrome, or something else related to my laptop/OS/browser, etc, but evidently it's not just me. However, that said, I had previously seen tickets available on some dates and searching just now, I did find a single £40 seat for one date, which has happened before, but is more than I wish to pay.

Well I enjoyed this one enormously. Eat before you go...There is much cooking of delicious carbohydrates all of which I could have happily have killed for! All the cast are excellent and well on top of this at 2nd preview. Allam uncanny as Jenkins. Play a bit heavy on exposition but hey,I lived through it so maybe it needs it! Audience refused to stop clapping at the end...never seen such a long round of applause. Glad I caught it...fine from row C of circle. ..go for low numbers in preference to high but most of action central.

Was in C7 tonight and pleasantly surprised, it's no front row but better than expected really, you miss some bits when a cast member is faced the other way but you'd get that anywhere but central front. Latecomer has pipped me to the post by mentioning the do eat, I've just had to have cheese on toast, poor alternative to what's on offer on stage. Unfamiliarly with period and what went on but quite clear and for second preview in what is a very word heavy play with a fair bit of stuff to do on stage at time it was pretty sharp. As a zombie newly out of ofsted week at work and with not a lot of sleep had this went down quite well with me and would have been even better if i'd felt more alive I expect.

Encouraged by comments so far as I yielded and paid more than I normally would for a return in the preview period. Had hoped OH would try to book Klaxon tix for us both but after 2 Mondays in a row when he failed even to remember to try, and given that dates we can both do are few, I told him he was on his own for this one. I hope he does manage to book as his interest in, and knowledge of politics is vastly superior to mine; I just like a good play but it sounds as though we would both be happy with this one.

I really wanted to try Klaxon for this, because... Roger Allam. But is anyone able to say what exactly gets cooked onstage? (Sorry to be a wuss, but certain food smells make me queasy and in as small and enclosed a space as the Donmar, it could get pretty uncomfortable for me.) Spoiler tag it if necessary! ;-)

Food smells..... {Spoiler - click to view} Toast, white, yummy. Fried onions, leeks and bacon bits. Pasts cooked and drained and then assembled with cheese sauce and onion stiff and baked in oven to make Delia's macaroni cheese! This is baked and then eaten with salad. Hope this helps!
