De-prioritise the ones on the BBC, the iPlayer will be there to pick up the pieces for you, and lord knows the ITV and channel 4 equivalents aren't much cop. Agree about ITV, and definitely My5. I don't find All 4 too bad, personally, though I have recently had sign-in problems.

🕺👍🥇🎉🕺👍🥇🎉🕺👍🥇🎉🕺👍🥇🎉🕺👍🥇🎉🕺👍🥇🎉🕺👍🥇🎉🕺👍🥇🎉@theatremonkey, you could always watch that OAP programme that was on last night to cheer yourself up. And report back.
Keep meaning to look out Derry Girls. I'm currently in love with The Widow. Brilliant stuff.

If only the latest series had consisted of three or four episodes, rather than six, @theatremonkey! 🙂 Should the current Mr Tibs be getting worried, Tibidabo? I hope it wasn't the life insurance company you've been making all these 'amazin' telephone calls to. 🤔

Bit miffed that I booked to see 2 cabaret shows in May and the lineup has changed so I won't see either of the people I booked for. I realise this was always subject to change and I expect I'll enjoy them anyway but I'm still fed up about it.

Love Derry Girls. At friends house, have been given tv controls and told to find something on Netflix and surprise her. Pressure.

Netflix doesn't get much more surprising than Michael Bolton's Big Sexy Valentine's Day Special, if you want to watch some decent comedy but also ensure that no one ever hands you the controls again.

Now maybe I'll give that a miss 😁 I've not been on Netflix before, what a lot there is, I'd never go out again, as it is I've got into a terrible habit of watching random stuff on YouTube of a night and not going to be to the wee hours.

Watching BBC Parliament waiting for the PM's statement. And MP asks for a minister's support for Arsenal tonight. Googles Arsenal fixtures.
Damn. Must remember to check Arsenal home games before booking Park Theatre - easiest way for me to get there is to walk, but it takes me right past the Emirates Stadium. Probably not a great idea half an hour before kickoff...

First person out of the theatre in Witham at 21.52. Did the almost half mile walk to station in 7 minutes. Would have caught the 22.00 train with seconds to spare though it was actually two minutes late. Got home just before midnight half an hour earlier than expected.
I get home around midnight from shows several times a week and feel wide awake for at least a couple of hours. Typically sleep from 3 am till 9 - 10 am.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as leaping through the train doors in the split second before they close for departure, but I guess arriving with a number of minutes to spare is a reasonably close second, especially when it's the difference between "bed at a reasonable hour" and "technically not going to get to bed until tomorrow now".

I spent yesterday running an 'Away Day' for the board I'm chair of. From breakfast meeting with our consultant, through to post event debriefs, I was talking to people for 11 hours yesterday, and I am a broken woman.

We had already had new dog for a trial run for a week where we had a few barks/howling so last night was very peaceful. He seems to be settling in quite well 😊

Hahahahaha! My work wifi has just refused to open the 'bad behaviour at a show' thread for being "offensive, vulgar and tasteless'.

After spending 2 days choosing some curtains, I have just spent 2 hours trying to place an order with a company whose name insinuates that they have far more produce than they need. I have been unable to finalise my order, despite them having all my credit card details and have been cut off 5 times from live chats. I need vodka. And to go and lie down in a darkened room. Oh. Hang on....

Sorry, I'm quoting one of my own tweets again but it's so much easier than trying to post a picture directly on here.
The only problem is our neighbour was re-homing hedgehogs from a local wildlife hospital last summer & now we fear they may have been, er, badgered to death!

I’ve seen a live badger, actually walking along the pavement one late night. They’re much bigger than I imagined! Give the foxes a run for their money.

Really don't mess with a badger, I know urban foxes give you that 'whose road do you believe this is' look when you're in your car and they still manage to out stare you but a badger well they're not remotely cuddly and sadly yes do hoover up hedgehogs. You must have met the only pavement trained badger kathryn, they do seem to have a bad road record. I remember going to the shoe man when I was a kid, his shop looked amazing but yes sadly all gone for years now.

You know you've been a theatreboard member for a long time, if, when visiting the refurbished Linbury Theatre and seeing the women's loo with acres of stalls, your first thought is, 'Lynette would approve.'

So many police everywhere. I thought maybe BurlyBeaR was visiting home , but it seems the mighty Blades are playing Millwall. I know we all complain about bad behaviour at a show, but it's usually relatively minor, even if it doesn't seem it to us. Why do the authorities, and especially the taxpayer, tolerate appalling behaviour in and around football stadiums, and on the railway network?

Except that the same loos also service all but the amphitheatre of the main ROH so the provision isn't a generous as it looks if you're thinking they're just for the Linbury!
