Sorry I couldn't make it, got stuck in town obsessively fangirling the Mary Poppins Returns film set. So exciting! Were they filming around St Martin's Lane on Saturday? I walked down there pre-matinee & there were huge lorries all down the road with what looked like filming equipment around. They were there when I came out of the ENO on Friday night as well. Right down the street.

Wipers Times is visiting 2 venues I also frequent (Guildford and Richmond) in the autumn, and maybe others of which I'm yet unaware, so I don't have to rush to see it and it'd need a good deal on the price to persuade me to opt for the Arts Theatre; plus the matinees are awkwardly early there (2.30 pm). But it sounds as if there's enough interest from others here to justify a small outing without me.

Lets have some suggestions of dates and potential locations I'm not sure with regards to specific dates if we want to do a specific meet up, however, I am guessing The Color Purple (May 21st) and Wicked (Jul 22nd) will be busy with board members, so they may be potential meet-up options if we want to do specific show meet ups?

I was going to suggest the July 22nd one over on the Wicked thread. It can still attract non Wicked attendees aka the glued to the same table crew

I'm not here for the cast change; I bugger off back home for the summer around the 27th June

My next times in London are June 12th and June 16th so I can meet up those days (though they are weekdays so that may not work!)
In terms of Saturdays, its July 8th for Matt Henry's final show or July 22nd for Wicked cast change, but may pop in a few more times between haha.

Sam and James... your names are awkward to tag!) Now here's a one-off! Me knowing how to do something on a computer! danieljohnson14 if you hover over posters' blue names you will get their @+user name come up in teeny tiny writing. (I do know that d'james is simply @ + james, without the d' in front.) You're welcome

I'm in London June 9-17, not sure if the big proper meet up would be arranged for the dates (you сan't be so lucky twice, I guess), but I am more than ready to meet for pre-theatre drinks and coffees at the TheatreCafe and all such things in smaller groups danieljohnson14 - I'm seeing the Kite Runner on the 12th and Terror in Hammersmith on the 16th, but both are doable

I am going to see Soulwax at the Royal Festival Hall on June 10th, but that doesn't sat until half nine, so I would be available for most of the day.

I think I'm down to play softball with work that evening (I know, sporty, me!), and I assume on a weeknight people wouldn't be going for drinks after, so I'd probably miss out on that one

I want to do a matinee of "Yank!" at Charring Cross sometime in July. I'm flexible on dates. Anyone want to say hello?

Why not have a TheatreBoard breakfast meet up? Oh no, I expect that's the time for softball warm up training.

Breakfast would work. I don't reckon many surface before noon though 'Scuse me: I'm usually up by 4 - 4.30 am - & that's later than when I worked shifts & naturally woke much earlier. It was so useful but being a lark isn't great for theatre-going.
