Lovely to see you back, Rhiannon! I miss your Scarlett Strallen avatar a little bit! I might go back to it, if I can remember what folder I saved it in on my laptop!

Hello, another "lurker" from the previous board. Thanks very much for all the work setting up the new forum - without it I would have missed some really great theatre (The Dazzle for example).
I average a couple of plays/musicals a month, more when I have the time/money. I really like the smaller theatres like the Union, Southwark, Jermyn Street. Just booked for Five Finger Exercise at The Print Room which is a new venue for me: I read about on here of course!

Hi I'm new to the forum after being introduced by my real life friend Mr Wallacio. I live in London and go to the theatre almost once a week. I saw 47 productions last year and am on track for a similar amount this year. I'm a fan of day seats, todaytix lottery and going to a theatre at 7.15pm and picking up premium tickets for bargain prices. Looking forward to exploring the board and chatting to you.

Cheers. It's based on my real name. Mr Wallacio chose it. I shan't repeat other names I thought of!

Name checked! Was trying to get The Hoff to join back when we were on the site that shan't be named, but sadly when that broke I was forced to relay all the exciting banter we were having. Glad to have you on board Hoff, now there's no escaping each other.

New to the forums in their entirety! I'm Ruth...currently 15. I'm a small-time actor(followed by various hyphens of my uninteresting half-jobs and hobbies). I've loved MT for a long time, my first ever experience being a little toddler in a choir that came the 9th runner-up in the nationwide choir search for the Joseph tour that followed Any Dream Will Do. I have an absurd habit of thinking that a play/musical/whathaveyou will be underwhelming and come out absolutely raving about it for the next month. Currents are Hamilton, In The Heights and Avenue Q. -

Hello all! Lurked a bit on the old site but finally bit the bullet and decided to join.
I live about an hour out of London by train so have seen quite a bit, though West End prices seem to be getting too steep for me now!

I used to be Bob_Worth on the old forum. For what it`s worth. I live in the north and travel to London about three times a year to see two or three shows.

Realised I have never done one of these intro posts. I went by the same name on the old forum, and was on there for many years. Work in London theatre, including on shows discussed on this very board already, though I try to avoid commenting on those threads as I don't want to influence discussion. Makes it a pain to see new theatre as I rarely have the time with working most evenings. Very happy to see this new board thriving so much and so quickly.

I don't think I ever posted in this thread when we moved across from the site that shall not be named...better late than never, eh! I'm Dan, and I love being a part of this site. I do work in the industry, but try to get involved in discussion whenever I can preference is for musicals but I'm open minded and will go to anything within reason - 67 theatre trips in 2016, and 20-something booked for 2017 at present. Hope to meet some of you at shows in the future!

Oh nice!
I'm Gonzalo, I'm 28. I was born in Zaragoza, Spain and now I live in Madrid with two friends. Moved there to try to find a job. Previously I worked as recepcionist in several hotels.
Gay. Single. *wink wink* Last relationship ended one month ago. I hate him. A lot.
I travel to London at least twice a year (three times this year) to see plays and musicals. My friends think I'm rich and crazy. I'm not. I just chose an expensive hobby.
My favorite musical changes every day. Right now I'd say Book of Mormon.
I'm in love with Nic Rouleau. Like, marry me please.
I'd love to go to New York, and that might happen next year.
And idk, feel free to ask anything you'd like to know about me.

So it must be a year since we got pushed under a bus by What's on Stage (our old forum). But this just gave way to another 'theatre aficionado' forum (this one), that seems more stronger, resolute and passionate than the old one. It is great to see so many old names come across and continue their journey on here. But is also great to see new blood on here starting their journey with us and I for one hope it will be a long, pleasurable and rewarding journey, as it has been for me.
However non of this wouldn't be possible if it was for dedicated theatre lovers, that must of invested, many hours of their free time, to make this possible, so it is with BurlyBears vision we are all on board on this smooth voyage and who are supported by Michael, Matthew, TheatreMonkey (sure not, your real name), Lynette and Andy and any other I missed our for making all this possible.
So Bon Voyage and hope there is equally just a pleasurable journey for 2017.
