Good to know. Fairly inflexible currently due to work commitments. Jan 16-20th is my only window of opportunity. Out of interest I had a look at 16th and 18th - the £12 offer is there for theatre card members. Really? Must check again. Last time nothing came up. Thanks. Edit: Boss!! This works now. I logged in before hand and this time they show up. Double Thanks!

On the ticketing site the calendar runs until April but tickets are shown only until Feb. Perhaps they want to generate earlier sales before extending?

Caught today's matinee. Surprisingly full for a Thursday afternoon.
Sat in the dreaded row AA, but in seat 9. I think only 7 to 10 would be worth paying for, others would be a bit top side on.
I loved it. Thought the design and score were gorgeous. Dark, gruesome, comic beauty with some great performances. Some fantastic puppetry and a set full of tricks that filled the building.
Hopefully with the success of Hamilton the British public are looking for more imaginative shows than the jukebox and 80s "megamusical" stuff that litters the West End, and shows like Grinning Man will thrive.

Saw it on tuesday and thought it was terrific. Worth seeing for the dog alone. Some big voices in the cast and great storytelling.

{Spoiler - click to view} Do they still have that ridiculous ending with the two cast members awkwardly clambering over the stalls?
Somewhat ruined the moment when they have to get the entire row to stand up to let them get back to the stage...

Can anyone confirm the running time for this? I've read 2 hours 50 but I'm kinda hoping that's wrong 😕

Fabulous news, thank you 😁 almost as fabulous as the free chocolate I've just been given at Romantics Anonymous!

I hope it does extend as we are in London in April and I would love to see it. I live nearly 200 miles away so no chance of seeing it before then.

Somewhat ruined the moment when they have to get the entire row to stand up to let them get back to the stage... I don't think it's ridiculous at all. It puts a memorable end to the show as they head off to a new life being watched by everyone on stage. I did see it in Bristol though and there because the auditorium is small they could reach the back quite easily and no one would have to stand to let them back out. But I wouldn't be annoyed at having to stand because I'd have just been awed by the brilliant show.

I think it would be less ridiculous if it wasn't so awkward. It's a steep auditorium, so when I saw it there was quite a bit of wobbliness, people having to lean out of the way as they climbed up, and a bit of nervous/awkward laughter from the people they were nearly treading on.
I think it's a nice idea, but it doesn't really work - it was all a bit 'haha woah, they're actually climbing over us'. And then it is a bit awkward that they have to push past a whole row to get back to the stage for the bows.

I agree, I found it awkward and unnecessary. Luckily I wasn't in the line of fire and I'm really glad! It's one thing being close to actors but another being climbed over, it totally broke the moment.

Obviously I'm blinkered from having seen it in the original setting where it worked fine (no take in Bristol)

I thought it was a very beautiful moment when I saw it in Bristol and I was glad they kept it in for London, though I was sitting near enough to the front not to see how it played out once they'd gone past me.

Seeing this a week Thursday, looking forward to it based off what I've heard both on here and from a couple of friends that have seen it. Have to question the prices though, is it really selling all that well when most of the tickets are £62.50 or £95? I'm counting my lucky stars that we're both under 25 therefore can benefit from the £25 tickets.

Todaytix has advance tix but only for the very front row, and having briefly sat there for Apologia (before I was moved), I'd never pay to sit there again.

The front row is very very different to how it was for Apologia. The stage is very low and it's a fantastic view. I was AA7 but 8/9/10 would be equally good.

Just steer clear of the extreme corners of the front rows, they looked incredibly squished and I'm not convinced people could see over the wall that goes around the front of the stage

Thank you both, Mark and robertb213 - that's very helpful as it's the centre of row AA which Todaytix is consistently offering for the lowest price.

Just saw this beautiful show. What an exquisite way to end my theatre trip.
Brilliant cast, excellent puppetry. Louis Maskell has such a beautiful voice, I'm in love! That act two opener, oh my God, he's incredible!
Since you have been discussing the ending recently, I have to say that I loved it.
Now, about my seat. I was in C12. Um, thank God the person on my left left at the interval, cause I was really uncomfortable during act one. Great view though.
P.S. in case the guy in C11 is reading this: you are really handsome.

My friend just booked us in row C. Why were you uncomfortable? Glad to hear the view is good.

My friend just booked us in row C. Why were you uncomfortable? Glad to hear the view is good. The seating curves around the stage, and that means I was sharing most of my legroom with the person on my left. We spent the first act trying not to make leg-to-leg contact. Oh, and no armrests.

Saw the matinee today (saw the show friday evening and loved it that much I decided to see it during my free afternoon). Loved the show even more the second time round and it was great to get a better look at the prosthetic as I was on the edge of row H on friday. I really hope they end up doing a cast recording - it's already sneaked it's way into my top 5 musicals! It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a musical, it's nice. I have to say that the seating plan on the ATG website is a little misleading. Book a pair of seats in row D that I thought were a few seats down from the platform above the entry, ended up being right next to it. {Spoiler - click to view} Had I been one seat to my left I would have ended up being clambered over... not that I would have minded too much!

Out of pure interest what seat numbers were you demelza ? I'm now wondering whether we're sat in the line of fire so to say (and debating whether to warn my mate who's coming with)

I was in D19 which was fabulous when the actors were on the raised stage next to the audience, and out of clambering range by a good 2 or 3 seats I'd say 😁
