Saw t6his yesterday and thought it was good fun, the first act was a lot better than the second which seemed hurried.
Good harmless fun and Griff Rhys Jones was first class.

I saw this on Saturday and rather enjoyed it, it was good fun despite there being numerous lulls where I thought maybe someone should have been a bit more judicious with the editing of the script (and there was no need for the songs to be honest). The actual script wasn't that funny, it was (what I'm assuming are) the ad libs and improvisation that made this, but I don't know if I'd want to pay top price to see it again only to find it's the same lines dropped into the show.
I agree that Jones was the best thing about this, but I was sat at the end of the front row and could have done without being referred to him as 'the banker' throughout the whole show while he stared right at me, but I was OK with that (although after the third time I was hoping he'd bugger off elsewhere anytime he walked over to my side of the stage), although some of the people that the cast had 'banter' with seemed terrified to even be looked at.
One silver lining regarding Mr. Jones, the man sat next to me who wouldn't move his elbows in when I sat down, and was staring into his trainer before the show started like some kind of hypnotised monkey, before then moaning to his companion at every opportunity including during the show, got a good soaking on his trouser leg when Jones was throwing the wine about, so hope he had a good time explaining that look to any passers by after the show - proof that God works in mysterious ways...
