I saw the show last week and went for Julia Fordham - though I was happy to hear all 3 singers - as though I had heard of the other two performers, I had never heard any of their work. Very enjoyable it was, too, even if the trio might have joined up for convenience rather than because they were, for instance, long-term friends or were stylistically similar.

Me too. I'm really hopeful of something good. I've seen a lot of disappointing things this year.

Just had a quick read of the press reviews. All are giving it 4* so fingers crossed it lives up to them. I loved MG when he was in Boys in the Band when it came upto Salford.

Tonight I shall be at Pinter 4. The last two times I've been, Jamie Lloyd has been stalking me. If he's there tonight too, I shall be taking out an injunction.
Unless he buys me a drink in the interval. And an ice cream.

What flavor? It could be the deciding factor.

Hadestown on Wednesday.
Then off to New York at the weekend. Nothing booked for Saturday in case my flight is delayed, but if I get there in time then I'll enter lotteries for Springsteen and Hamilton but more likely end up losing those and grabbing a last minute ticket for something else. Seeing The Band's Visit, To Kill a Mockingbird and My Fair Lady during my trip, with a couple of slots still open for last-minute decisions.
