Eugenius this afternoon & ETO's Radamisto this evening. I'm aware that this is a strange combination: pop musical & baroque opera.

NY theatre week next week - Mon - Lifespan of a Fact Tues - Days of Rage Wed - The Waverly Galley and American Son Thurs - King Kong Fri - The Nap (possibly, though not yet decided) Sat - Popcorn Falls and Donna Summer I think you will really like all of the plays. The musicals? Well, time will tell. I would sub Torch Song for The Nap if that show is of any interest. It is well done with strong leads.

I’ll definitely swap the Nap for Torch Song. I’ve found a discount code on Broadway Box tonight so I can pop into the theatre box office next week and get a cheap ticket without having all the handling fees to pay. I wasn’t too sure about the musicals to be honest. There weren’t many that stood out as must see ones. Thankfully I have bought them on discount so if they happen to be duds at least I won’t have spent too much.

It's the run of a play on which I am associate producer. "The Pride" runs at Hope Mill, Manchester from Tuesday - Saturday. If you are coming along, please say hello. I'll be the one grinning with actual pride!

Little bit of early advance:
22/10: RSC Troilus 26/10: Rheingold (ROH) 28/10: Walkure (ROH) 31/10: Siegfried (ROH) 2/11: Gotterdamerung (ROH)
So myths and legends abound

Theatre trip to Stockholm: Thursday: Concert with Peter Jöback at Cirkus, where I have seen him as Phantom two years ago. Friday: the premiere of Moliere's The Imaginary Invalid (Den Inbillade Sjuke) starring one of my favourite Swedish actors Mikael Persbrandt and directed by one of my favourite directors Stefan Larsson at Maximteatern. Saturday: Den Inbillade Sjuke again and in the evening a new Swedish musical based on the Oscar nominated movie As it is in Heaven (Så som i himmelen) at Oscarteatern.

If all goes to plan, in the coming week I should be seeing Company, Jersey Boys, and Stories. Might try to catch The Distance You Have Come too.
I haven’t posted much recently as my life has been a little overwhelming but I’m hoping to get back into it now that things have calmed down 😊

Not Blood Brothers. Without, unfortunately. None of the originals, but they have gone through MANY line ups over the years. Times are tough if they're playing the RVT on a Wednesday night!
