Five Guys Named Moe and Jamie. This sequal seems to have a less snappy title than the first "Five Guys" musical. It's all a bit confusing, how many Moes and how many Jamies? Is it five of each, or do they split the names between just five characters?

Today I shall be at the Barbican for Julius Caeser. I have been practising my best Carry on Cleo quotes to shout out at regular intervals. I think they'll like that.
This evening I shall be pulling on my tights to see Cinderella at the Sadlers Wells.

Today I shall be on the binoculars for 'Hair' at the Vault Theatre.
This evening I shall be taking Meow Meow at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. As I'm there I may as well go to the cabaret too.

Fairly quiet in the Midlands having seen nearly all the pantos I want to and nothing new for a few weeks. Hope to get over to RSC to see 12th Night in next week or so. As a avid gig goer - January is always quiet too so will take time to get diary updated to plan where I want to be.

(And film-wise, Mountains May Depart - at last! - Molly's Game and 3 Billboards)

A slow start to the year, Misalliance at the Orange Tree Saturday evening.
As I’m in Richmond tempted by the Panto at the Richmond Theatre, a fan of Count Arthur Strong but have never really ‘got’ pantomime.

Off to see The Grinning Man & Everyone's talking about Jamie - then The Ferryman early next week. I've been a theatre goer for many years - 1st production Big Bad Mouse in 1967 - usually doing 10 to 12 per year - but still don't understand the pricing of tickets! For Grinning Man the same seats ranged from £30 - £90! (I wonder which I brought??)

Follies and Barbershop Chronicles at National tonight and Thursday and the press night for Into the Numbers at Finborough.
I've had a bit of break as I find winter knackering but I am trying to gradually get back into reviewing and just enjoying plays again.

&...
Hamilton on Thursday with Mrs Lovett's Meat Pie (RIP).

An American Paris for Saturday Evening. I'm hoping to get a rush ticket for Ink for the Saturday matinee since there's nothing left on ATG, failing that I may start the year off well and go for 42nd Street as, whilst I want to see Glengarry Glenn Rose, I'd rather save that for an evening and have a shorter wait before heading to the Dominion.
