On Saturday at the matinee, part one of my plan to become Dame Olivia Colman's best friend will be put into action.
I fear Sunday will involve some kind of custodial sentence and threats of legal action from said Dame Olivia Colman but I shall not be deterred.

If it goes quiet on here I'll give the Met a ring and offer some bail money.

Today I'm seeing The Tempest at the Barbican; tomorrow it's Queen Anne at the Haymarket; Saturday it's Annie at the Piccadilly.
It's a hard-knock life!

Tonight I shall be spending the evening with a toad, a rat, a weasel and a mole at 'The Wind In The Willows'. Sounds like an evening I once spent back when I used to be in MI6. Naturally I can't say any more. National security and all that.

I'd honestly rather not leave the house for a week or so, but I have to go see an old friend in London, visiting from afar, midweek, so I'd be surprised if I don't end up at any old cheap thing.

Tomorrow (Saturday) I'll be seeing The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time again, having previously seen Luke Treadaway in London and Alex Sharp on Broadway.
Monday night is an encore broadcast of Disney's Newsies in the cinema, starring Jeremy Jordan and other members of the OBC.
Last but not least, I've got tickets to see Lady Gaga on Wednesday.

I'm off to New York. It's a helluva town according to Danny Mac.
This week I shall be tracking down the Broadway boys, Corey Cott, Ramin Boogaloo, Gavin Creel and maybe even a Brandon Uranowitz but it's all about the divas. Bette and Patti.
I. Might. Just. Die.
Bandstand Anastasia The Great Comet Hello, Dolly! War Paint
Goodness. That is such a straight selection I'm in danger of being propositioned by a woman!

Miss Saigon in Brum on Thursday. Seems like alternates are on this week in some roles. Anyone know who I'm likely to be seeing?

The Play That Goes Wrong, Wednesday. Angels part 2, Thursday. Then nothing for the rest of the month as I'll be on a remote Scottish island (I've already checked the nearest community arts centre, nothing of any interest for me while I'm in the area).

Angels in America Pt 2 tonight. I will scandalise people here by saying ..
I nearly dropped off on Saturday at Pt 1. As in zuzzed.
I have a chronic ear infection and think I over medicated on what must have been drowsy stuff. Feel slightly more awake today but buzzing ear'oles are a concern. Black coffee.

The Play That Goes Wrong tour on Wednesday at my local. Oklahoma Prom on Friday evening. Possibly A Little Night Music on Saturday. I have a ticket but am not sure if I can be bothered to do the 3h trek each way to the wilds of Berkshire when comments on the production have been mixed.

Finally it's Angels next Monday and Wednesday (I'd like to say the anticipation has been fun, but did there have to be so much of it?), with between two and four slots to fill in the week - would be surprised if I don't end up at the 10:30am Matinee of 13 at the Ambassadors on Thursday - in itself morning theatre would be an experience. Maybe Apologia, maybe Bat, maybe Lady Day, probably a Wicked dayseat Weds PM.
I've heard that there may even be other things to do in London besides visit theatres.

Oklahoma Prom on Friday night. Lucky you. I'm recording it though from BBC Four.
I won't see it until Sunday though, as I'm going to SUA for Antony & Cleopatra Saturday matinee.

Hamlet talk and Road on Monday, The Tempest matinee (probably from miles away ) on Tuesday. I was tempted by The Girl from the North Country - I love Shirley Henderson but I don't like Bob Dylan or the Old Vic (too skint for a decent seat!)
