Having never seen a show at the national or during previews, in general how are they during previews? say if I try and get the 4th or 5th September what are the odds of it changing or being cancelled so close to opening night? So long as you don't crunch your way through a bag of Maltesers during Imelda's big number and she launches across the auditorium to lamp you I'd say pretty minimal.

Noted, I'll stick to Jelly Babies!

Someone better check if jelly babies are on Imelda's sh*t list of unacceptable confectionery.
So for the Amex presale, how do you actually access that?

I don't expect this to be like the Angels, so I will book when general public can book and will aim for later dates (September/October) Im an ordinary member so can book Friday but i too am looking at later in the run. Cant see there being the same rush as Angels.

Got my tickets in the basket. Was feeling very pleased. Then the site crashed....
The queue went down very quickly. Possibly let too many people in?

Ah this explains why my queue number plummeted through the first 500 places and now is going down about 15-20 per minute

Why is it that theatres and Arenas can't sort their websites out.
This happens time and time again.
Now 1124 ahead of me. I do wonder if it will crash when I get in now.

To be fair it does seem to have been a while since the NT had problems. Aside from the first booking period after the new website went live it's gone pretty smoothly for me.

Sat in a long queue. I am pretty sure I wasn't waiting this long for Angels tickets. At this rate I may get to the front by midday.....

If you are a member, are there only a limited number of seats they put on sale today?
It's starting to feel like I am gonna give up right now for my sanity but log on again a bit later.

I'm down to 1013 so dropped 600 in 30 minutes.
I have to clock on work at 9.30 so can't see it happening for me.

Got my basket back. Tickets still there. Clicked on checkout and it is hanging again. Twitter feed says they are working on the problems and will update as soon as they can.
Why do I feel so stressed? It is only a few theatre tickets!

I was hoping life was going to get a little less stressful becoming a member to get in earlier to book. So wrong.

The queue is paused now and there's a message saying they are having trouble with ticketing systems. If it carries on much longer I can see them doing what they have done before and just sacking off today, then starting Priority booking from a later date.

Site back up. Original choice of tickets still in basket, managed to pay with, literally, seconds to spare before I was timed-out.
Now I must make that appointment for a heart check...
