Considering this is a fundraiser to help out the Hope Mill, struggling now after doing some brilliant work in the early days, your comment is plain rude. Is it though? Hope Mill has always been very hit and miss for me (more miss than hit) and if you're going to do a fundraiser surely you want to get someone who's going to knock it out the park? Jodie Prenger is good fun for many things, but as Rose? It's a solid no from me. Which shows have you seen there?

Rent, The Wiz, Passion - liked Rent, didn't care for the other two productions.

Not selling well so far. Prices are stupid though. It's going to take a big push to fill that. All the publicity I've had from only promotes the VIP package with the preshow dinner so that gives a false impression too

This really isn't selling well which doesn't bode well given today's announcement from Hope Mill. I hope they do manage to raise funds as it would be a shame to lose the theatre.

Have to say I thought today's last ditch appeal message was pretty poor. If the place I'd set up and run for a few years was struggling I'd be putting a lot more passion into it. I've seen appeals for WI jumble sales with more oomph. It comes across really muted, overly scripted and with an air of "already thrown in the towel". These are the two founders, with performing experience coming across as totally untheatrical or urgent. Bizarre.

This seems to have sold really poorly. Hopefully the casting news will shift a few more tickets.
I wish the owners well but, with so little coming up at the Hope Mill itself, it's hard to see how the current financial situation will ease for them.

Not much progress on sales since I last posted the seat map. Overly ambitious pricing sadly. The HM is a good cause but this is very misjudged.

I’ll go if I find a stalls seat that isn’t stupidly overpriced. Are you going?

Good luck to them Agreed. an Incredible venue with a very good initial business plan which is sadly flawed in the current market - however, the ticket prices for this are also a little flawed in the current market :-( Let's hope they can get some good corporate sponsors for the evening etc - and quick before they have to cancel.

I really wanted to see this but there's no way I'm going to at those prices. I know it's for a good cause but they are way overpriced, like a lot of their other tickets these days.

I must be a hardened Londoner because I look at those prices and they seem fine.
And then I remember this is a (probably under rehearsed) concert of a magnificent musical.. starring Jodie Prenger.
Those prices need to come down

At least you know you’ll be fine in the Gods. JP will be so extra, sing and play it so broad that it’ll definitely reach the back. Shame for HM that this isn’t selling. It must be a bugger to make any money in such a small house, however they missed a trick by not transferring some of their bigger hits to rake in some funds.

Good to see a pretty decent turnout. Apologies to the doom and gloom merchants. Looking forward to the show

Better than I expected. From the opening bars of the brilliant overture from an on stage 20 plus sized orchestra right to the very end it was an amazing "concert"...basically the full show. Can't name them all but the whole cast were superb..maybe Matthew Kelly's small part a weak link but that's being petty. Hope word of mouth from those who saw it will move Hope Mill onwards. What they achieved over a week or so rehearsals is unbelievable.
