If it does transfer (I hope it does) this may speed up the cast recording release?

I could imagine this in the Criterion or Ambassadors.

I'd imagine this transfers (And I really hope it does.) It's an incredibly cheap production to run and is selling well. Granted, Kiln tickets are incredibly cheap but, its selling nevertheless.

Just checked the website- very limited availability until the end of the run, with one or two performances completely sold out.

Made a return visit this afternoon. This is just very good, isn’t it?
Will be very happy if the transfer rumours prove truthful.

Any idea of a timeline for that? It'll probably be late March or early April since Merchant of Venice 1936 is there for six weeks in February.

Quite a lengthy run for an unknown show with no stars...
But crucially it's good, and I'll be seeing it again.

Great news. By the time I got around to seeing this show it was sold out. So now I can see it at an easier to get to theatre.

Good for them, it’s a really lovely show. Can’t think what the Criterion’s like, only been there once when The Comedy About a Bank Robbery opened. Looks small enough that it shouldn’t lose any of the show’s charm in the switch to a bigger venue. Not too badly priced either for West End.

Loved the songs but didn't enjoy the story. I found Dougal to be a really jarring character and the jokes were a little predictable. Great music though can't wait to have a listen through again.

Perfect news! I’m coming to London at the end of the current run (fri/sat), but of course it’s a sold out. Is anybody selling tickets? 🥹 or does anybody know how ot get them on some resell pages or from returns?

They keep a 'Returns List' on the day though, if you turn up 90 mins before show start. I did this at the midweek matinee this week. They took my name at 1pm for the 2.30pm show, and I was the only person there at that point. Once they've taken your name just stay somewhere in the foyer or bar area and they'll call your name if something comes free.

Do you think that matinee performance will have a higher chance for returns since it’s not final? God, I so wanted to see this and one day I found out that I’m going when it’s closing and it’s a sold out, that they’re transfering, but also I will probably miss the window they have now 😄

Possible that fans of the show will now be more focused on seeing it in the West End, than being there at a matinee of the last Kiln date.

I'm listening to the "New York" track and I'm both kicking myself that I still haven't gotten around to see that AND happy that I will be able to on the West End at the very least. THAT is a catchy tune!!
